We very much enjoyed our stay at the Glen Moray B&B. I love old houses, so chose the Edinburgh room, which has features of the original building. We were very comfortable there, and loved the fireplace, built in alcoves, roomy bathroom and all of the...More
Placerville you say? Glen Morey is a 10 minute walk from old Placerville. Placerville has some great places to eat, art galleries to dwell over, and great boutiques.

Hi, I will be moving into the area for 4 months starting February 8, 2015. I will be on Federal Gov't per diem rates for the first month, then after that it cuts down to 55% of per diem. I have 3 kids (12, 10, and 6) and my wife that will be with me. For the first month I could pay $3,420, and the last 3 months I could pay 1,881 for each of the last 3 months, bringing you in a total of 9,063 for the whole 4 months. Would you be willing to put my family and I up for the entire 4 months? How close are you to down town Placerville?

Somehow, trip adviser sent your question to me rather than to the owners. We found the owners to be absolutely delightful. They themselves do have small children. I'm not certain how A BandB type breakfast situation would fit in with your need to get up and out to work every morning. Good luck in your search for lodging.
