People are great! Rooms are comfortable. Love the crepes and coffee in the morning. Hotel is an eclectic menagerie of French nick nacks. French radio plays in the dining area. A lot of fun! Great resturants in the area. Short walk to downtown.

I have limited tolerance for kitsch and I was hesitant about the Metro because of the website, but overall it made for such a fun and cool experience! You can't beat the value. Certainly not deluxe, but it really is the closest to an old world and Parisian feel I've ever had in the U.S. (literally reminds me of the...

This hotel may not be for all, but I found it delightful. The owners have gone out of their way to create a unique place to stay in the heart of Petaluma. Each room appears to be different. The rates are reasonable. Crepes and great coffee are served in the morning. It has a warm and cozy feeling. I usually...

The Metro Hotel was charming but could use a little improvement. The beds were comfortable and the morning coffee and crepes were delicious but the lighting in our room was poor and it was a bit noisy. The European-style bathroom (no shower walls) was a little unnerving because the water got very close to the door to the next room....

Magnificent boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Petaluma. Spent 3 nights at the Metro Hotel....what a fabulous place to stay! Variety abounds, we spent 2 nights in a lovely well appointed room & for our last nights stay we wanted to experience a night stay in one of the Metro's airstream trailers! Complete with its own little outside sitting...

Second stay here at the Metro and it gets better every time! Stayed in Anna's Nest and it felt like home. What I love about this place is it's laid back vibe, retro French furniture, sumptuous linens and bedding, and all around eclectic feel. And let's not forget the Streamline retro campers you can stay in - complete with lawn...

We go to Petaluma for business and this is our second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is definitely a unique french style experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the WiFI works. There is parking included in the room. The staff is friendly. It is walking distance to downtown Petaluma for some restaurants, brew pubs, and stores....

..of our entire 2 week northern Cal vacation. Only spent one night but the Metro was so quirky and amazingly decorated, it had us wishing for more. The rooms are a bit small, but are very well appointed. The bathrooms are huge, almost as big as the room. Morning breakfast was a real treat, crepes and real self- brewed coffee....

I called 3 weeks in advanced after having an unexpected cancellation of another hotel in wine country. The owner was so helpful and he was more than happy to accommodate our bachelorette party of 5 into their 4 person room! The room was BEAUTIFUL. The hotel was so wonderfully decorated and clean. I would LOVE to go here again, the...

The Metro is a unique, quaint, funky and whimsical little place. We are the big brand hotel type of travelers, older, so this was a leap for us. We found the place clean, cozy and comfy. The air conditioner was efficient and one of the quietest we have encountered. The person who checked us in showed us around, explained how...
