My wife used to come here as a kid, and wanted to bring the family here for Fathers Day 2014. After reading the reviews, we almost cancelled our reservation. Not sure if the bad reviews were for the tent area, but the RV sites were fine, We were greeted by a friendly staff and found our spot along the stream....

I used to camp here as a child and has such great memories that I thought I should try to come back and share the experience with my husband who's never been here. We booked a RV site which was great because it had an assigned site with electricity and water hookups. The site was decent but you had to...

Unless you're renting out the entire campground, lock your things up. If you're locked up and have shoes on (watch out for broken glass despite the no glass rule and poison oak) then you're probably gonna have a great time. The grounds are beautiful with greenery though and the stream helps keep the heat away just enough. Overall it's the...

I have been to this campground for many years. It is called camping because there are no chlorinated pools, campfires are nightly and the conditions are rustic. if you are a "Hilton camper"..fugetaboutit! The showers used to run well, with plenty of hot water and the bathrooms were maintained well. As a rougher crowd of people found out about this...

I am sorry to say I will never be going back to the campground again. I used to go there when I was younger and had a great time every time. Now it's been taken over by hoodlums and hooligans. Don't plan on getting ANY sleep at night if you go there on a weekend. Loud music and yelling going...

After reading the reviews I was very skeptical about this campground but, we went anyway. We arrived on a Friday morning. Paid our fee and we were told to drive in and pick a space. We were not provided a map of the campground nor were we given any direction at all. We did however find a beautiful site within...

My parents used to take us here when we were young and it was a great place to hang out and go inner tubing and appreciate nature. Now it looks like San Quentin descended upon this site. There are gang bangers left and right showing all their tattoos up. Free country , but u decide. It was like a scene...

If you like loud music and a bunch of teen-20 something drinking campers who trash their campsite this would be the place for you. No security or curfew, people driving in all hours of the night not knowing where the roads go or end. We had several cars drive down our dead end road and spend several minutes making 3...

We came here with a large group (about 15 couple/families). First of all, when you drive out there you need to look out for the trading post/gas station otherwise you'll miss out on the turn into the campsite. When we checked in, the lady was nice but gave no real directions on how to find our reserved spot "just make...

We picked this so called campsite "La Jolla Indian Campground" for our Family Labor Day weekend destination (BAD idea). This is NOT a family friendly campground. Overcrowded, loud, unkempt, perhaps they forget that there are health and safety codes. This park is so so poorly managed that they do not warn anybody of reserved spots there are no signs, no...
