The Westin Pasadena is a big, beautiful building a stone's throw from City Hall. If you like to walk, the neighborhood is gorgeous, both in terms of urban structure, and the housing. Time permitting, spend some time on your feet and enjoy the view. All sorts of restaurants and things are nearby, including an ArcLight movie theater and a great... More

- Staff is always friendly from the front desk to the people that clean your room. - They have a free shuttle to drop you off at nearby places (I always give the guy a couple of bucks for his time). - Rooms are always clean and the hotel keeps itself upgraded - The only down side is the prices... Just returned from a one night stay here. Was in Pasadena for my daughter's soccer tournament. The team manager chose this hotel because it was close to the field. Last year this weekend for the same tournament we stayed at the Langham. That was great. This was the opposite. (and btw, i dont think the langham was much farther from... More

Pros: We loved our room--a corner room filled with light and a great view. Nice, comfy beds. Lovely bathroom. Nice maid service. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the beautiful outdoor pool on the fourth floor. Cons: * Nickeled and dimed for the breakfast. Don't pre-purchase "included breakfast." That provides a $50 for 2 voucher towards breakfast. You would think that... More

We arrived in town after driving all day to find that every restaurant we called was closed. Finally, we called The Westin and found to our delight and relief that they were serving a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful dinner, which included the choice of either butternut squash soup or spinach salad to... More

This is a fabulous hotel! Clean, super nice housekeeping staff, great pool and hot tub with nice view of surrounding mission style architecture. Very nice courtyard space leading into a plaza, nice flowers, fountains, landscaping. Concierge desk was always helpful. The only minor annoyance was at check in. The person was difficult to understand and her niceness was a bit... More

Let's see: the hotel was nicely located, a nice stroll to Colorado Avenue and Raymond Avenue which are the streets where interesting shops and restaurants are located; a bright and airy lobby; a decent-sized room, hot tap water on demand (no waiting for the water to heat up); spacious drawers for storage; a useful long bay window seat; a generous... I was impressed with my recent stay at the Westin Pasadena. For the most part, it exceeded my expectations. The rooms are well appointed and ample in size, which was comforting for my extended stay of 1 week. The gym and pool are fantastic. The only issue that seems rather peculiar at the pool area, is the air intake that... More

The Westin has everything you might need. Located within walking distance from lovely shops and restaurants, it is perfectly situated for exploring the city. Lovely view of historic City Hall. While not boutique or quaint, it is comfortable, clean, and well appointed (including thick cotton sheets and complimentary Starbucks coffee. I would definitely go back. My only complaint was the... We simply loved the architecture of the hotel. The front desk and valet service was awesome. However, the service in the room for shampoo, and other bathroom replenishment was lacking. They did not replenish the shampoo, coffee or tea. The location of the hotel to downtown Old Pasadena was very good with it being only a few blocks away. The... More
