The restaurant is doing really well with Tina in charge , she has specials all winter. This is a little bit of Paradise & we want to keep it a secret. Randy &... More

My husband and I thought it would be nice to go camping on out tents. We reserved at Black Meadows for two nights and cut it short to one night because it was nasty. We were the only ones there tent camping, and all these retirees just stared at us like we were some kind of weird animals camping in... More

We stayed at the Black meadow for a weekend. Showed up early was charged to enter the gate. The 1/4 wide trailer we stayed in was disgusting. Let's go down the list: 1. Bathroom Filthy. Tub looks like it hasnt been cleaned in 50 years. Floors are dirty throughout. 2. Sheets and Bed are disgusting. Not welcoming. Sleep on top... More

Tried to stay in a motel unit 15 years ago. Bed, sofa, and carpet all had burn marks and holes (some too big to be caused by a cigarette). Shower looked like a breeding ground for any and all bacteria. Ended up sleeping in the car. Went back over the summer and stayed in an RV but checked out the... More

Over the past 8 or so years, my family and I have stayed in our RV, as well as rented hotel rooms, camper units and kitchen cabin units. The review describing the need to pay a day use fee to drive into the park (when you've already PAID to stay there overnight, and have arrived one hour early) is spot... More

We have spent several vacations at Black Meadow in our own RV. We recently sold it and decided to check out the "kitchen cabins" at the resort. We arrived an hour prior to check-in and were told by the office staff we had either buy a day use pass ($13.00) or, if we wanted immediate access to our room, we... More

I've been going to Black Meadow Landing for a few years now. I've stayed in the motel rooms, the park models, and I've taken my own RV. I will write a small review for each of the types of accommodations. First off, the motel OMG, where do I start? I guess I'll start with the bad. The furniture is 20... More

“Get the hotel rms for cheapr, the RV park models ($120 a nite) PLUS they charge you $10 per kid you bring! $140 total for a dive 1970s park model manufactured hm approx 325 sq ft one bedrm, one bath, tight galley kitchen... (kids sleep on uncomfortable lumpy FUTON) Why are we being charged extra for the kids? we didn stay at the motel/hotel but did look into the windows of vacant rooms they looked decent enough...if not better than park model so save a few $$ and stay at motel that is one story (there's a 2 story older looking motel as well looked REALLY old and crappy)”
