Very good stay. Nice snack amenities and very relaxing atmosphere. Great family owned hotel. My bed was comfortable. I really liked the snacks stocked in the refrigerator. The safe in the room was a great idea and the view of the pool was relaxing.

Had a sport function at Stanford University and I have heard about this hotel before and was recommended by the University. I was very impressed with the rooms. Had such a humble feel to it like I was at home. Its convenient to many restaurants and shops and just down the street (5-7 mins) from the University. The staff was...

Dinah's is that rare, non-chain hotel with the right combination of charm and whimsy to overcome the corporate hotel culture that pervades so much of business travel. Set in busy Palo Alto, it holds its own with much more expensive competitors.

We stayed three nights in a deluxe lagoon room. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ate two nights at the poolside restaurant. I did not know what to expect but the food and service was fantastic. We had the pleasure of being there on a Thursday and...

My husband and stumbled on this hotel. We had checked out several of the very corporate extended stay options in the area and settled on one of the newly renovated Hilton properties. Fortunately we had at dinner at Dinah's poolside restaurant one night, and our server, Isobel, made sure we met the reservations manager at the front desk. She took...

We stayed for 1 night with our dog and were extremely pleased with the 'pet friendly' room that we enjoyed. It was perfectly clean, well maintained and the floors were a wood/wood-like laminate that was not too cold on the feet. The pet charge of $25 was very reasonable. The bed was super comfortable and the towels were very decent...

This is a wonderful hotel for business or leisure. I didn't have any children although I could tell the children were having an awesome time in the pool area. The staff was courteous and very accommodating. Location was great with easy access to the highway and Stanford's campus. I was able to take walks and enjoy the neighborhood.

There aren't many (if any) places you can stay on El Camino Real where you can leave your sliding door open and hear nothing but birds and water. We stayed in a lagoon room near the back of the property and heard no street noise - it was lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is terrific....

2nd floor- no elevator! Come on! I had to drag up the stairs. Private rear balcony- but front door is shared porch by others and entrance is outside. Not in a hall. May be with great restaurants- but heres cheaper better locations with interior entrys. Hotel Aria for example- closer and better. Hotel Zico has exterior patios- but more secure-...

We love Dinah's and always choose to stay there when business takes us to Palo Alto. Love the garden, ponds and grounds plus the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Very cozy atmosphere. We love the "getaway" feel to Dinah's--so much more charming than any chain hotel, event the so called "luxury" chains. HIghly recommend plus the staff is always very...
