- I got a cal-king bed with a little patio. A nice patio with baby ducks (no smell) in a paradise lagoon. Fresh fruit in the room and very upfront on all the costs. The room was huge and very simple and uncluttered. Staff had all smiles and very pleasant. - Unfortunately the air vent had a medium constant hum...

Stayed here one night during the Bank of the West tennis tournament. Our room had a large balcony -- I could touch the leaves of the tree from there. Spent an hour reading by the pool where you can have food and drinks from the restaurant. Friendly staff. My son had stayed somewhere else, but decided to come to Dinah's...

Dinah's Garden Hotel is a true oasis amidst a string of lookalike Motel 6's! Dinah's is tucked away just off the main road where the rooms are bright, HUGE and VERY comfortable with great views. The rooms have VERY big bathrooms that are modern with stone floors. The rooms have bamboo floors that are really beautiful - no Red Roof...

Lovely hotel with relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are large, comfortable bed, with chocolate and apples brought in every day. The poolside restaurant has a nice menu. Outdoor tables allow one to enjoy lovely weather.

Upon checking in we asked for a quiet room and were told that we were in the more quiet building 800 bldg. boy was that wrong, we could hear every car in the parking lot below, every conversation outside the room, even the water running in the room next door. Next, there was an old fashioned exercise bike next to...

Dinah's is in the midst of so many generic and character-lacking options from Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott....and it stands out as more casual, real, and personable. The rooms are large, the pool is central and with a nice bar. The food is more than passable, and reasonably priced. I really appreciate this place!

Family booked a room here for a recent trip to LPCH. Upon arrival the impression of entry way was amazing. The check in process was easy and desk staff was very courteous and welcoming. The lobby is kept very clean and office staff is present and available 24/7. The room (King Deluxe) was a good size, and presented well. Our...

My husband and myself enjoy swimming and having cocktails by the pool, and this hotel totally provides. The Poolside restaurant has good food and service. Next time we would request first floor room with out door sitting.

I would stay again at Dinah's in a heartbeat!! If my family ever goes to Palo Alto for a vacation, we will stay at Dinah's. It was relaxing, great food, and wonderful rooms! I ate at the hotel the first evening and had great food and service. I was not expecting such a cute hotel with such great service as...

After over a half century of hearing about Dinah's but never actually staying there I splurged. Worth every penny. (Well, anywhere in or near Palo Alto is going to be a splurge, nowadays. Grin and bear it.) Nice room, pool view, friendly and professional staff, ideal location for my purposes (local family and friends visits and nostalgia crawl around Stanford).
