The hotel is a nice one, breakfast is offered and is good. The overall experience is an easy and efficient one, without complications. You are near the bars and restaurants area which is good but the last rooms in the hall can have noise from a nearby bar, however nothing extreme.

I have conflicting thoughts on this hotel. On one hand it's in a great location, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. On the other hand, the rooms are tiny and the walls are paper thin - it has the worst sound insulation in any hotel I've ever been to, to the tune of being able to easily follow... More

An unusual hotel and different from the usual business places I stay. Essentially only rooms and a very small communal space with free coffee and an honesty bar. Breakfast is a sort of very limited buffet of croissants and cereal. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very small but functional. No pool or gym. Very close to the main... More

Hotel Keen is well located just off University Avenue and nearly walking distance to Stanford. The rooms are very small and one side of the hotel faces a nightclub and it's noisy from 10pm-1am. Nice staff, breakfast, internet. And it was not cheap.

The hotels location is great, rooms are new but small. Overall, comfortable and clean. Staff and service are efficient and nice. Breakfast is basic - bread, hard boiled eggs and ham - all ready and for self service. No fridge or safe in the room though.

Hotel Keen has an excellent location in the heart of downtown Palo Alto next to a church. But for the money $500/night), it's really vanilla. The lobby is basic - no charm. Rooms are small and plain but clean the soaps/lotions are pretty good. Bed is good, not great. Walls are thin and you can easily hear people next door... More

Loved this hotel! Reminded me of hotels in Europe - just the basics and nothing extra. The rooms were clean and updated and they had a wall you could write on with whiteboard markers - a fun touch! Great location - easy access to the train, Stanford campus and shopping/restaurants. My only complaint about the hotel is that there was... More

Clean room, good bed, good Internet. The window was not transparent, so could not really see out or open the window properly, which was a bit sad. Also there was not really a solution to hang clothes (such as a cabinet), which can be difficult on official trip (as mine was).

Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and you feel safe. The breakfast and wine offered is a nice treat. The breakfast is healthy and has a wide selection. It is great to always have access to some sort of snack.

Hotel Keen is simply a great place to stay in Palo Alto. The lobby is a great meeting place, the rooms are clean, efficient, and beautifully designed, and the location can't be beat. The only criticism is not about the hotel but about Palo Alto; the parking is awful. Do yourself a favor if traveling on a weekday–buy a parking... More
