We arrived in late March to Palm Springs in an attempt to flee the snow of Denver. We didn't realize it was spring break week and the airport here was packed. It look an hour and a half to finally get our rental car. When we got to the Colony Palms Hotel we realized we made the right choice, for...

We showed up and had our car parked. Lovely staff and nice people. Had dinner at the bar and the food was quite good. Also did massage and it was fantastic. Room was nice and clean and all around much above average. But it was overpriced for the expectations. If you are going to charge $500-600 per night it should...

I was so happy with the stay at Colony Palms. It provides an excellent counterpoint to the larger resorts further in to the valley, offering a smaller and more subdued experience. To be certain, this property is more limited in its offerings--there isn't a gym or multiple restaurants and bars and the resort charge is a bit on the higher...

From start to finish this place is the best. Check-in is fast and easy and courteous, the staff is just wonderful. The rooms are all beautiful and unique and no expense has been spared for the decorations, fixtures and furniture. Beds and pillows are scrumptious, AC is quiet and powerful, tiles in the bathrooms are to die for. The Colony...

Beautiful property. All personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. The pool area was delightful. Breakfast was good. Eggs Benedict was cooked as I requested. Waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The only complaint I have was the noise of the doors near our room. Great restaurants nearby.

"May I offer you a glass of wine?" was how we were greeted when we arrived to the gorgeous Colony Palms Hotel. We quickly learned that there was also delicious iced tea available, excellent coffee in the morning and a LA Times newspaper all FREE in the lobby. They upgraded our room so we had a small patio before entering...

I've stayed at The Colony Palms twice, both times the staff was LESS than accommodating but I loved the pool so I had tried it the second time and again was DISAPPOINTED. My casita was like a Tijuana cell block with concrete floors and it was outrageously overpriced for the few amenities and rude staff. Because of the grounds I...

So I guess they have new owners. I'm sure that they have made some very nice improvements to the property but the two that were visible to us seemed like a step backward. First, the awesome Moroccan style cabanas were replaced with plain white ones. Snore. Second, the cocktail menu is totally different. We used to come every time we...

The pool and restaurant are beautiful, though there are hotels with better views. However, the rooms are small and tired. The arrangement with all the them around the pool provides for little privacy.

Dear HelenaW1026, Thank you for taking the time to review us. Fortunately, I am happy to report we have refreshed all the rooms: new floors, new mattresses and linens, and refreshed bathrooms. Our secluded Casitas, in the garden area, offer plenty of privacy. Each one with a private patio offering peace and quiet. We have completely renovated our Spa and...

This is one of the most charming small hotels that Palm Springs is known for. It is historical and filled with beautiful foliage/Gardens and a great central pool in the courtyard. I absolutely love the 1930s Spanish-meets-Moroccan decor. However, some of the decor and outdoor furniture is getting a bit worn, many rooms leave a bit to be desired and...
