Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I travel to Palm Springs 1 to 2 times a month for business. I’m the type of business traveler that once I find a place that not only makes me feel safe + comfortable, it must have a fun, creative, casual aesthetic. The Palm Springs Hotel covers it all! The service is exceptional! The rooms are to die for. The location is perfectly set near Old Town Palm Springs w/many options for shopping, drinks + dining and more.

No stone was left unturned in creating this special boutique hotel for customers service to stay. I will continue to stay here when in town and recommend it to family, friends + colleagues. I can’t thank you enough for the excellent, personal touch customer service.

Front desk staff was very friendly and casual-professional. Very clean. It IS an experience. Great relaxing ambiance around the pool and whirlpool with only 15 quiet rooms, semi-private from other guests. It is totally private and enclosed from the outside world. Very nice. The beds were too soft for two of us and perfect for one. It is close to the mountains and downtown/uptown shops, horseback riding, the different canyons, a grocery store if you want to stock up the mini fridge. No microwave but there may be one available at the front desk.

I had a weekend getaway recently and decided to stay at the Palm Spring Hotel. It was a nice small hotel with a modern feel to it. I thought it was very clean and the hotel did a great job of complying with safety measures related to COVID. For example they have the remote controls in a ziplock plastic bag! The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is because our room had two shower heads, the Rain Shower head and the Handheld shower head. It was very hard to the get right water pressure and temperature on the rain shower. It was a good 15 min struggle. We were only there for 1 day and did not want to call the front desk. Also, in the bathroom, there was not enough space to place my personal items. There was a small basket with towels but that was it. If they fix these two issues I would give them a 5 out of 5.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with pops of decor. The rooms reminded me of casitas-style rooms with separate private entrances. We enjoyed the pool and loved sitting by the fire pits in the evenings listening to Jazz & Indie music. The front desk was very helpful and friendly and even provided doughnuts on the patio one morning. As a plus, the hotel has good security as they provide guests with a pin # to be buzzed into the property. I would definitely stay here again!

I believe this is a newer hotel. The lobby smells like a nice spa and the pool area has two nice fireplaces with ample pool seating. The rooms are tile floors and clean. The furnishings in the rooms are adequate but not top quality. There is only one seating chair in addition to the metal desk chair. The lighting is poor due to the glare you get with the new contemporary lighting. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall a very good experience.

We loved this small quaint hotel. It’s set in a great little Neighborhood close to all the restaurants. It’s fits the 50’s vibe of most of the hotels here. Great music throughout the day and night by the pool, staff are there if you need them. No waiting for pool chairs, plenty of lounging areas with multiple fire pits to hang at around happy hour and at night. We were here during Covid so the bar wasn’t open but I am sure that’s an added bonus when open. You would want a car if you stay here, lots of places to hike and explore. There is a small fridge in the room for groceries.

Would stay here again! We had a room tucked away in the corner in case there were people out late at the pool but while we were there it was all adults, the rooms are quite close to the pool so at times it may get noisy if there are kids or large groups.

The hotel was disappointing in so many ways. Entry is awkward and far away from the tiny parking lot. Housekeeping never cleaned our room, although we left a sign on the door for hours requesting service. When I informed the desk attendant, he offered no suitable solution.

Driving up to the hotel it doesn't look real appealing from the outside. The front desk staff were kind, helpful, and cared about the cleanliness of the hotel and safety of the guests. The hotel has a 70's vibe with the pool in the center courtyard and all rooms surrounding (and the pool is open 24 hours!). The rooms were simple and chic, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom was fantastic. We brought our own drinks to the pool and ordered Doordash for meals. It really was a fantastic stay, we will definitely be going back.

With the uncertainty because of the Covid-19 virus, I was so relieved to see how The Palm Springs Hotel and their staff cared about our safety. Numerous precautions were in place to ensure the health and well-being of its customers; however, none of these precautions hampered our enjoyment. From the moment we entered the lobby, I felt safe and that my health was of the utmost importance to the staff. The hotel was clean, and its amenities were more than good enough for my wife and me. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Palm Springs, due in no small part to the feeling of safety created by The Palm Springs Hotel. Although we only stayed one night, as we were traveling from Pennsylvania to California, I truly wish we could have stayed much longer.

Thank you for your inquiry. We do sell beer, wine and alcohol at the hotel. But being a 15 room boutique hotel, we do not have a staffed bar and bartender. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, but no glass containers or coolers are allowed in the pool area.

Is there a gym/fitness center in the area which hotel guests could use?
Answer from Jeffrey
Palm Springs, California4 contributions4 helpful votes
Thank you for your inquiry. There is a small independently owned gym right across the street from the hotel. They do offer day passes. The name of the gym is the WorkOUT Gym. I highly recommend checking out their website. Just Google WorkOUT Gym Palm Springs. There is also a World Gym 1 mile from our property that also offers day passes.

Hi Carolyn, The average high temperature in Palm Springs in the month of December is 70 degrees! The weather is lovely and I always suggest layering because it can be chilly in the mornings and at night but warm up mid day!
