Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

this place needs a serious facelift. Credit to cleaning staff for making this place feel clean, not an easy task. 1 plug in entire room with extension cords for lights. cant charge phone without unplugging something and even then plug wont stay in wall. door to washroom wouldn't close and at least 5 broken tiles on bathroom floor. A few more stains on the carpet and may have a fancy new modern pattern. I realize this is a budget hotel, however during Modernism they were demanding over $250.00 a night for their rooms as others were sold out. All things in perspective they had a great pool area.

The room was clean enough--you could smell the bleach. I didn't find any surprises. However, the room and grounds obviously haven't been updated or remodeled in at lest a couple of decades, if not longer. This property isn't worth more than $50 or $60 a night, though I'm sure Wyndham is going to wring more than that out of people who cannot afford a better property.

On the whole its not a bad place, I have stayed in worse but only out of desperation during a hurricane! Its in a great location and they are working on updates, sadly the pictures they use to represent this place are not true in our instance. What you see isn't always what you get - and we didn't.
Room needed cleaning badly - the fake wood floor was sticky and your feet turned black walking on it.. The curtains barely did their job, the bathroom didn't have a stopper in the sink that worked - the push rod was missing... the shower continually dripped... The only saving grace was the toilet worked! Outside the room was a nasty carpet that had patches ripped out and below us a continually leaking ice machine that had a river of slimey water we had to jump over.
The swimming pool needed a clean though as an owner of one I know its a constant battle...
Its shabby at best, needs tlc and an injection of money. Probably in time, Covid really killed the industry but $100 a night nah!

I work in the TV/ FILM / stage hand industry, I often pay out of pocket when traveling for work , That being said the hotel is older and needs some updating, I have been staying at the property since it was the quality inn, I have never had a problem, If you check in to your room and have an issue call the front desk then and there don't wait till check out , house keeping will remake a room if you have an issue with it , the front desk staff is amazing . It is one of the few hotels that does not charge a $ 30 resort fee on top of the room rate. The wifi , rooms are great I call ahead to request certain rooms ahead of time, its is not the cheapest hotel in the valley and its not over priced ,

I had booked a pet-friendly double room with two queen beds. We were given this room upon check-in, but when entering the room it was clear that the room was not cleaned, it had no bed linen, dog bones on the floor and money on the table. We were then given a much smaller room with a single king-sized bed, but were not offered any refund for the difference in room rates. Also the internet did not work for the first day of our stay. Also, we could hear the next rooms television in our room at night.

Booked a boho room for my son based on what they advertised in Expedia.
The room was nothing close to what was expected. The desk was dilapidated, the sheets were dirty, there were multiple spackled holes in the wall, there were brown stains on the walls, the paint on the door was chipped. The bed cover and the sheets were dirty when they check in (sheets had brown spots) The bathroom was dirty and for some reason the shower floor was PAINTED in blue. The couch had these white spots on it. Overall the room was filthy, sub-par and FAR from what was advertised as a boho room. The conditions were so bad, they only stayed for 4 hours before deciding to move to a Motel 6 (which even getting the basic room from Motel 6 was a 1000 times better than the room what was given to them at the delos Reyes.) However, the front desk person was nice and kind. We're currently trying to get a refund. Absolutely a classic case of false advertising.

This hotel is in need of MAJOR upgrades ASAP. Cons: Our bed was all springs with scratchy sheets. The shower faucet handle was in two pieces (one for pressure, one for heat). The door didn’t seal. The A/C unit blew the curtains open (which faced an outdoor hallway). The wall outlets wouldn’t hold a cord so we had to use extension cords from the coffee machine and lights. Pros: the A/C cooled well. Large vanity in the bathroom. Fridge and microwave worked.

A horrible experience for the 3 days we were there! Never again at this location. Herewith several of the issues: NO service from the front desk, NO response from manager, dead bold lock to door did not work, room was not cleaned for the 3 days we were there, reported slow commode draining yet no response from front desk when reported, had to go to Housekeeping and borrow plunger to fix the commode, NO response yet from Wyndham Corporate as I have reported stay twice, carpet was filthy and had burn marks throughout, two lamps in room were non-operational and posed dangerous hazard to us while there, hot water available sometimes, ice machines on complex were non operational during our stay, key card worked did not work all the time, shower curtain did not fit and water ran out by the tub posing falling hazard for two over 70 seniors. We repeatedly reported our concerns to the front desk only to be IGNORED. Being ignored now moves our disappointment to utter disgust.

Service was friendly and efficient and rooms are relatively cheap compared to local competitors but the bedroom was old, old-fashioned decoration and fittings . It desperately needs redecoration and modernization. Stale smell throughout three-day stay and carpets were old and stained.

The staff's attention is good but not the best. The place was clean, but there was no hot water in the showers during the three days we stayed. We reported the issue, and they only told us they had problems, but nothing was ever resolved. Later, at the pool area, there was a Mexican family, the kind that drinks and makes a scene, shouting and cursing without considering the children present. They were drinking and eating in the pool, and the hotel staff never said anything to them, perhaps because of the cheap meat dish they were given. There were other groups of people as well; some Italian friends were also there and they felt very uncomfortable because the pool was treated as if it were their own. It's 11 PM, and those bunch of ghetto Mexicans are still there, tarnishing the hotel's reputation and disturbing other guests with their awful Mexican music. Yes, I'm Mexican too, but I have manners and know how to respect communal areas.

Regarding the room:
There is no phone to reception, and there were no bath towels upon arrival.
