This is about the Barbara Bar day experience. First of all, BRAVO! What a great place. We made reservations to have cocktails there. My husband and I and 4 of our adult nieces. The staff was soooooo accommodating. Christian let us in and brought us in, Angel then brought us to the gift shop while answering questions like a tour guide. I couldn't go to Trixie Motel without getting something to cherish the memory with so I got a beautiful pink studded tumbler. Well worth every penny spent, which speaks to the quality of everything about the place. Every detail of this pink oasis in the dessert is extremely filled with thought and perfectly executed. The decor, magical.... the garnish on the drinks, perfection...... the menu items, delish..... the powder room makes you forget why you're in there....... The random rocks in the landscape, pink and perfect..... the drink menu, flawless and fitting of the mood and the surroundings...... the staff, charming and delightful. Back to Christian at the Barbara Bar. He was like Angel, so welcoming and charming and cute. His shift ended and Joseph took over our care. He was just as charming and delightful as the others. We were treated like the most important people even as other patrons filed in. We were there because my nieces and husband and I love Trixie and the magic that is drag. My father recently passed away and was a bit of a bigot. We love him but we felt the need to toast him at Trixie. It was perfect. The drink prices are fitting for Palm Springs, much cheaper than LA or Vegas, more expensive than Myrtle Beach. The well drinks were $16 and the specialty drinks were $20 and when they were served, we didn't feel like we were bamboozled. They were spot on, not watered down or weak, and yummy. The presentation of each drink, even the mocktails, was like a show in itself. I recommend this highly. Make sure you make a reservation and go with the understanding that their guests in the lounge AND the hotel are their first priority so that means you can take as many pictures as you like but not in the private areas where guests are lounging in peace and quiet in the magic of Trixie Motel. Thanks so much to Angel, Christian, Joseph and that nice lady who was helping who I didn't catch her name. You made our experience one that we'll never forget. Bravo!!! Kenny, Tom, Stephanie, Karlie, Ashley and Melanie.

Of course my sis and I had huge expectations when we stayed for the weekend, every single one was met spectacularly. First of all Palm Springs is adorable, and as soon as this motel came into view in all its pink gloriousness we KNEW we had arrived!!! Just checking in was so much fun! EVERYTHING is so cute!! We were checked in quickly and there was a huge bridal party in the lobby with us, shopping and taking pics. As we checked in you are encouraged to pull records from the collection because there are record players in every room! We pulled 7 random records and ended up with taylor, lana, gaga, olivia....it was kismet. Listened to all. Rooms are adorable, with little kitchens and patios. After watching the show as they redesigned it was so exciting to be there. Perfect size for the 2 of us and everything was so clean. We walked to a few restaurants and even without driving things were easy to get too. EVERY person staff or guest that we interacted with was nice. I also think its important to mention how safe i felt on the property and in Palm Springs. At the motel you are behind a locked gate, so if you wanted to sit outside your room at 3a it would be safe to do so. Overall the motel, staff, amenities, and town are a 10/10.

By far the best motel I have stayed at. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The customer service is impeccable, they make you feel very well taken care of. The surroundings are a pink paradise and you get complimentary croissants, Greek yogurt, orange juice and coffee in the morning. Never wanted to leave. <3

We stayed in the Queen of Hearts room. The rooms are really fun, and if you make friends with the other hotel guests its also a good time to check out how the other rooms are themed and different from one another. Beautiful and fun pool experience. The lighting at night is all pink and it creates a chill ambiance hang out in. The motel does an excellent job at ensuring that the guests have a private experience from onlookers. The staff is excellent. Christian really made our stay so much fun, and he makes an excellent Aperol Spritz. The breakfast comes in a cute basket and the coffee is really good as well.

We stayed in the Atomic Bombshell room. Having watched the show, we were thrilled to see everything IRL. Beautiful furnishings, classy and elevated. The entire room was clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed signature drinks and delicious snacks before dinner, then the next day we enjoyed the breakfast basket, coffee, and a dip in the heated pool. Absolutely fabulous.

I have been a fan of Trixie since her initial Drag Race debut and really enjoyed the hotel makeover series so it was a must on my visit list whilst in PS. I came for drinks and appetizers and wasn’t disappointed. The hummus was delicious as was the popcorn, it is snack food and the lounge is set up for this experience, less of a restaurant vibe but I expected that prior to making reservations. The drinks were phenomenal!! The decor is darling, so “Trixie” and nicely done without being over the top. All of the staff were kind and helpful. It’s true that photos are allowed in the lounge only - not by the pool or if the motel area. I tried to buy pool passes but none were available during my visit to PS. I can’t say enough good things and I hope to stay in one of rooms next time I am in town. Tip: Make reservations for lounge in advance.

Our stay was wonderful. The property is drop dead gorgeous. Everything (somehow) looked even better in person than it did on the TV show. Not a detail was out of place; even the scent of the motel and the music that was playing by the pool. The rooms were not only beautiful, but also comfortable. The beds were soft, the AC provided an escape from the desert heat. They served the cutest complimentary breakfast in a basket that you could enjoy wherever you would like. The staff members went above and beyond to make certain everyone was enjoying themselves. We didn’t have to put one single thought into where we went to for our meals, everyone who worked there was happy to give us restaurant recommendations. I truly cannot express enough my gratitude for the hospitality that the staff members provided to us they were all incredibly kind. We will most certainly be returning and would recommend Trixie Motel to anyone who loves Trixie, loves the color pink, or is a fan of eccentrically beautiful design.

What can I say about this beautiful new addition to the Palm Springs travel experience. I booked this hotel when it went live a few months ago. Being a huge fan of Trixie Mattel, I was anxious and eager for my arrival. I had a chance to watch the show regarding all the renovations that they did before coming to the property. The staff is 100% dedicated to making sure your experience is exactly what you want it to be. I was excited to learn that the room I ended up with was the Malibu Barbara room. Hanging out by the pool and meeting all the other guest in the seven room boutique motel was The highlight! We all bonded and even gave each other tours of each of our rooms. well some might say that the price is an issue, I can guarantee you if you were there for the experience it's what you're paying for. If you have the means be sure and check this place out! Designer did an incredible job with the details, every day you see something new.

From the moment your walk into The Trixie Motel you are lifted into a pink heaven. The staff is exceptional and attentive. Every room detail of the hotel is created with thought and a creative vision. The quality of the towels, sheets and furniture is top luxury. IWe stay at lot of hotels and this hotel is above all in service, and feels cared for and just when you think it can't get any better you wake up with a pink breakfast basket. This lovely motel feels straight out of a movie set! Everything is pink, and the attention to detail is truly impressive. We stayed in the Flamingo Suite, and the '80s vibe is surreal, it felt like we’d traveled back in time. When the neon lights come on, sitting outside with a cocktail while others enjoy the pool is simply magical. Tracy Mattel, hat off to you Queen!
