Detailed Reviews
Fleur Noire is a chic, casita-style boutique hotel in Palm Springs, CA. The staff, property and location are all top-notch, and we would highly recommend staying there if you’re in town!
The staff at Fleur Noire is amazing! The owner, Corey, was very approachable and really cool to hang out with. He was extremely attentive, and he took a ton of pride in caring for the hotel and its guests. Robert and Bri were extremely hospitable and offered helpful suggestions of sights and restaurants around town. Both genuinely cared for the guests and their experience. Also, if you’re lucky, you might get to meet Ed the Boston Terrier!
The property is immaculate. The landscaping is beautiful; the pool and its views are relaxing; and, the floral murals on each of the buildings are beautiful. The in-room amenities are comfortable (especially the bedding); and, the complimentary La Croix, croissants, fruit and snack bags are nice to grab at all times of day from the ‘clubhouse’. It’s an oasis in the desert you’ll find very relaxing.
The location is terrific as well. There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. And, if you’re more active and adventurous, it’s located in an area that will get you to desert slot canyons or alpine wilderness in only a short drive.
Overall, we would highly recommend Fleur Noire and hope to visit again!

this hotel is hands down one of the cutest, most unique hotels I have ever stayed at and is very affordable. Great location, walking distance to everything you could need and close to airport. Bri as the BEST. She is one of those rare gems you meet and your 1st thought is this hotel better do whatever it takes to keep her. She sweet and bubbly and knows the hotel guests and goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed. The reason I didnt give it a 5 star are: very poor wifi (i work remote so not being able to have good wifi speed/connectivity is an issue for me), the included "breakfast" is only croissants and package fig bars, the traffic noise is loud and last was when Bri wasnt there the other staff was no where near as kind or as helpful and place felt very different. I would 100% go back though!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, we really appreciate your feedback. We did unfortunately have an afternoon of spotty WIFI during your stay. We understand the importance of strong WIFI and this was corrected the same evening. Regarding breakfast, we offer a continental breakfast of croissants, fig bars, oranges, apples, coffee, orange juice and Le Croix, available daily in our guest pantry. We will be more thorough in explaining this during our check-in property tour. Again, thank you so much.

The property is thoughtfully appointed with floral murals on the exterior walls, a fun little heated pool and fire pit area and a wonderful team of people. Everyone we encountered was thoughtful and real. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner choices were fresh and fun. It is clear that the owners have put in the thought, energy, and effort to make a stay here feel fun and special.
The property is close to good restaurants & bars. We found ourselves walking easily to all sorts of fun spots.

I like to always start on a sweet note :) the staff is nice and kind. The overall grounds are pretty and so are the rooms. Here a few things that did not work out for me.
We have a dog and came here because it’s a dog friendly hotel. The improvised “dog walking area” is very tricky and full of cacti. It’s Definitely more on the dangerous side for your pups. I had to watch out for him to not get poked in the eye by all the needles.
The mirror in our bathroom was positioned in a very funky way onto the side of the sink since there’s an unnecessary window right above the sink! That definitely won’t let you shave your face.
The snack/breakfast area is very limited, I wish there were a few more breakfast items!
Expedia advertises “La Boisson” as a Restaurant where to enjoy a meal (you should update that) since you can’t get a meal just wine. Also there’s no daily bottled water in the rooms (also advertised)
The TV wasn’t working well, I assume it runs on Wi-Fi and the signal is too weak.
The walk-in closet has no light and the bedroom’s nightstand lights are not bright enough to light up the closet.
The pink coffee maker in our room was not working. I also don’t understand what’s the point of a kitchenette if there’s not even a microwave, it’s just a wasted area with a fridge.
The bedroom AC is very loud, it feels like a jet is about to take off any second.
Overall I like what they’re trying to achieve at Fleur Noire but there’s definitely room for improvement. I personally don’t see myself coming back during high season and paying more than what we paid.

Newly reopened as a Frnch Themed hotel last November. Owner and staff very.friendly and attentive. Location is great at the top end of uptown just across from the 1501 Gastropub. Provide Croissants, Sodas, Coffee, fruit for free all day. Pool is heated to the high 80s.so unable in Winter. Beautiful laid out area around the pool and rooms to relax with a couple of fire pits. View of the Mountains. Bed was very comfortable and room is spacious, although our room could have benefited with furniture to rest or unload luggage, also Bathroom could have benefited with some counter space or furniture to ly out toiletries.
When pulling in to park, pull in to the gate, which will open when the car is close, no need for access code or key. Access to the hotel is then through a couple of lock code gates. When we went, they were still waiting for a license to open the Rose Bar,

First, the good news. Staff was friendly and the outdoor courtyard of this old style motel very nicely landscaped. The bad news: the rooms were renovated on the cheap. The style is funky modern, which is great, but everything is downhill from there: Cheap acrylic tub, tile around faucet caving in, furniture rickety. Has kitchenette, but main room is small. No drawers at all for clothing and no counter in tiny bath room. Soup dispensers mounted over the bathroom floor with no drip catcher— really odd. Bed was reasonably comfortable, but heating/AC unit was *very* noisy. Might have thought it was a good deal at $175 a night. But the price tag of over $400 a night was totally out of line. Go elsewhere. And in case you think I am being overly fussy, I just wrote a rave review for the next place we stayed in. Stay elsewhere.

While we really do appreciate you taking the time to review, we would like to respond to a few details. The tubs we offer in four of our standard rooms are indeed acrylic deep soaking tubs made by Kohler, so far this feature has been a guest favorite. None of our faucets (sinks or tubs) have any tile around them so we are confused by this description. Our furniture was all sourced from West Elm, Article and CB2, which so far has proved to be well made and sturdy. Our standard rooms are 300 square feet, which is a very common size among most hotels, however our suites are 550 square feet. Our Malin and Goetz soap dispensers are designed to only dispense soap when the top is being plunged, simultaneously with a hand underneath. All of our rooms have closet spaces and luggage racks, and as we are a hotel with short stays, you are correct we do not have drawers. We were unable to duplicate the noise from the HVAC but have replaced the unit regardless. Finally, $400/night in Palm Springs during high season is very standard. We understand boutique hotels are not for everyone, but we strive every day to provide all of our guests with a comfortable and relaxing stay from check in to check out, as demonstrated in the over 700 excellent reviews we have accumulated thus far.

Though the name of this hotel sounds as though it is a bordello, it is an outstanding place to stay in Palm Springs. It is newly renovated in the most tasteful, whimsical manner. Everyone working at the hotel is extremely friendly, helpful, and extends gracious hospitality, and deep knowledge of the area. The fire pits are lovely at night, and the pool is warm and clean during the day. The view of the surrounding mountains is unbeatable. It's a quick walk to downtown, and the coffee shop across the street, Cartel, is outstanding, though there is a Keurig in your room, and fresh milk, fruit, pain au chocolat in the room set up by the pool for snacks. Can highly recommend!

I read reviews from several hotels, wanting something that was not the run of the mill hotel chain. This hotel is adorned from the 50 and 60’s, clean, quaint and the pool was literally steps from our room door. The property is gated with a code, which was a good security measure. There were outdoor games,a clubhouse with books and a kitchen area that was stocked with drinks and snacks. A full bar was available. The room was clean and large, with a kitchen and nice bathroom. The staff was wonderful, rooms were refreshed daily. I recommend this hotel.

this was our second stay here. We like it, the art on the walls and the rooms are quite nice However, when we checked in the evening., we discovered that they no longer had television. Instead they had Roku and you could watch any 15 or 20 or 25-year-old football game you wanted, but you couldn't watch real live football. Evidently, if you knew some secret, you could link into your home TV, but our system wouldn't let us. So the next morning I scouted out and found the Old Ranch Inn, which has real live TV, and with much bigger room[s] with a couch and an easy chair and a kitchen and it was all $140 less a night, so we moved.
