My husband and I were traveling across the country in our RV with our dog and wanted a break from the RV so we used RCI points to book this resort. It is a lovely resort on a golf course with beautiful landscaping and palm trees. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hillary checked us in and out and gave us detailed information about things to do in the area and even where to find free parking in the downtown area. Our unit was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. We had a full kitchen. The furniture is dated and the bed was firm but still comfortable. We had a unit overlooking the pool and hot tub that we used every day. The staff were diligent in cleaning the inside and outside of the resort and we felt safe there. They let us park our RV in the back lot and gave us a unit near the RV. Our dog did very well there and loved her walks around the area. They were such an accommodating staff, we cannot thank them enough. We will definitely return if we go to Palm Springs again

My husband and I spent the last 6 days there sightseeing in Palm Springs. We had a studio unit which faced the mountains. Great a/c, it was 123 degrees one day! Bed was comfortable and shower refreshing. They have a quiet pool on the left side which felt like a bathtub and was truely quiet. Very clean. On the outskirts of PS which was very quiet and private but close to the main highway downtown. Shopping cloe by. We would stay again.

We loved our stay at the Plaza Resort and Spa. The front desk staff, as well as housekeeping went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and attending to our needs. Specific thank you to Luke, Veronica, Victoria, Lora, Gabby and Jay. Loved the sauna and free movies. Our unit was pet friendly and all the employees would stop and pay attention to our two little Yorkshire Terriers and made all of us, our dogs included, feel like a valued guest. Thank you!

I came here on a timeshare exchange week. I spent $1000 for the week, and came expecting a resort and spa. Instead it's like a quirky nursing home. There were no "resort" amenities. Our room wasn't serviced the entire week. I had to call three times to get my wet towels changed.

We had a beautiful view of the golf course. A nice empty pool and jacuzzi, but besides thermal pitchers of coffee in the lobby, there was NOTHING provided. The bedding was extremely thin and inadequately insulated for the temperature outside. The heater was placed on the wall near the head of the bed, and if turned on, would blow right in your face during the night.

The lighting was bright white fluorescent lighting, like you'd find in a supermarket. The bathroom smelled like sewage offgassing/mixed with cheap air freshener. The bathtub has grab rails for the elderly, but one of them runs across the back of the tub, meaning you can't take a bath, since the bar would hit you in the back of the head. The paint was peeling, the counters were water stained. It was grim. The provided shampoo didn't even lather. We spent an hour of our vacation going grocery shopping for shampoo, a comforter for the bed, and earplugs, because the paper thin walls made us privy to our neighbors' bedroom shenanigans. It was DEAD on New Years. Not a single other occupant in sight. Luckily we were only in the room to sleep, so our trip wasn't ruined, but I'd love to know how they can get away with calling themselves a resort and spa, when there are no spa services, and nothing resort like about the place.

The final insult was looking up the price of the room, and realizing that I'd overpaid by about $300 with my trade-in certificate.

The property amenities listed include laundry, water park, kids club. None of these were present.

We're extremely disappointed to hear that WorldMark Palm Springs - Plaza Resort and Spa did not meet your expectations. We like to be transparent with our guests in that our resort does not offer cleaning services, and we're troubled to hear that this was not communicated to you prior to your stay. Your feedback regarding the suite and resort amenities is greatly appreciated, and has been passed along to our resort team.

The check-in process was great. Veronica did a great job listening to my family's needs and selecting a unit location that was perfect: beautiful view of the golf course, first floor that opens out to a grassy area for my dog, and close to the edge of the property for more quiet. The free movie rental from their DVD collection excited my son. The separate air conditioning units in the bedroom vs living room was very helpful to keep everyone at the temperature they prefer. I was also able to borrow a toaster oven which made cooking in unit much easier. Though some things weren't working when we entered the unit, e.g. lamps not plugged in, and the foldout bed was too creaky, we easily adapted and had a wonderful time. Roaming the resort grounds was also a great walk for my dog. Everyone made us feel very welcome. I will be returning to this resort.

The Plaza Resort is a well run resort. The pluses are location pool, good parking and great staff. The cons are the units do not have full kitchens so no dishwasher or oven. I was told that remodels are expected next year to add the missing kitchen appliances. The 1 bedroom units are well configured for 2 couples to have privacy. Good closest and storage for a week long trip. Liked having 2 balconies. The bed was a little firm for our taste.

We stayed via a timeshare week, and absolutely loved it. It's hard to find places like this which accept pets. Not only was our dog "permitted", but was made to feel welcome. Most places stick pets and their owners on the ground floor facing the parking lot, but we were given a lovely top floor room overlooking the golf course. There are also plenty of places to walk your dog from the property. We were in a studio, and the kitchenette was more than sufficient for two humans. The unit was spotless and well maintained, and the onsite facilities were great. Staff were personable, too! I loved that there was a "quiet" pool at the opposite end of the building from the main pool, so playful kids and sedate adults can each do their own thing without conflict. The overall location was great; close to shopping and restaurants, with easy access to downtown Palm Springs. It ticked all the right boxes, and we hope to stay here again.

Location is an easy drive to both Palm Springs and Palm Desert but the resort needs an update in both furnishings and taking the popcorn ceilings off. The walls were thin, making sleeping difficult at times. The resort is also pet friendly so not great for people with pet allergies.

Room is great but this timeshare is also a hotel. What that means is that parties go from room to room every 5 minutes with heavy closing doors everywhere. So it's like a French Farce but without the laughs. Just a lot of coming and going noise. For someone wanting to relax, it's a problem.
Staff is really really great but I would not return.
However, it was fun watching the roadrunners around the pool.

This is located on a gold course and is a little older but very well kept up. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room is clean but being older it was missing a few amenities. No dishwasher or oven but the grills are close by. We brought paper plates so not to have to deal with that and it worked well.

Since we have had bed bugs at home, I'm totally with you on the bugs thing. In the 6 years we've gone to the Plaza we've never seen any unwanted critters. The ownership is continually doing upgrades inside and outside the units. I agree with CactusPat - if you're uncertain try to get a 2nd or 3rd floor room instead of ground floor.
