Not all that clean, you really don't want to touch anything in the room if you don't have to. Dirty shower curtain that smelled up the whole room and a wheezy old airconditioner from the seventies that drowns out the 1980's TV. Not cheap. They scan your drivers license for some reason, kind of weird vibe.

What a wonderful hotel. Excellent accommodation at a great price! Lovely pool and location. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, specifically Martinez ( i think that's spelled right), Sadie and a lovely black girl whose name began with T. If in Palm Springs -highly recommended!

A confluence of circumstances left me without a room for a three night stay and this property had the very retro lure of a 1950s motor inn with a reasonable rate. The many resorts in the Coachella Valley were booked during this period or commanding exceptionally high rates (as there were various sports tournaments as per usual here and this...

After surfing hotel listing/Ratings on TripAdvisor I came to the conclusion that the Caliente was a good choice to try for my holiday stay in PS. On the trip was my wife and 9 year old daughter. We had a 2 Bed Tahiti room. The price of $78 deserves 5 stars. But the room was good but the heater did...

This is not really a resort, but rather a comfortable motel located just south of the Palm Springs city center. It's on the main road through the city, but is nevertheless quiet. The lobby area has a modern desert-architecture feel, although the rooms are very traditional motel: comfortable and clean. There is a large pool and a hot tub in...

We loved this place a 50's motel turned into a retro tiki motel. The room was clean and comfy, old air conditioner but we went in December, Pool and hot tub and patio area was clean, comfortable and relaxing, service was friendly and helpful. Only wish they had breakfast or restaurant. If they carried over the cool thing they are...

This hostel is located near the main street. It's not noisy. You can enjoy the jaccuzi and the huge swimming-pool even during winter. Awesome! The rooms are comfortable and beautiful (nice colors!) A special thanks to Maritza and Connie for their warm welcome during our stay; we really appreciated.

The property is more motel and less resort but that is what we needed. It was quiet, clean and the rooms were spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed access to a computer and printer and the people on the front desk were always very helpful. We booked via phone and Maritza was very accommodating to our...

This place was so cool and very affordable. Decorated in a retro feel but spotlessly clean and staff very friendly. Lovely pool and gardens. Same sort of price as a Motel 6 place but worlds apart in feel and vibe. Highly recommended and would stay there again. Maritza was so helpful and friendly.

I spent a weekend here with a group of friends. Wow, what a great experience. Sadie and Maritza were fabulous meeting all of our needs. There is no restaurant or bar, but you can bring your own food and drinks to the pool area. The large grass area with BBQ's is perfect to make your own dinner and to meet...
