The property is stunning! The staff were all extremely welcoming and attentive. The bungalows were appointed very nicely; however the lighting definitely needs attention especially in the bathroom. In the evening/night you can barely see yourself in the mirror to fix your hair etc...it's way too dim even when turned all the way up. Same goes for lighting in the... More

Our stay at the L'Horizon Hotel in Palm Springs, CA was nothing short of exceptional. One of the best things about a luxury boutique hotel such as L'Horizon is that it's tailored to each guest versus a commercial hotel that tailors to the masses. I was able to coordinate a romantic stay in advance thanks to the brand ambassador Jan-Bas!... More

Recently returned from a four night stay with my wife and have to admit the reviews are true to form. The property reeks of discretion. With only 25 bungalows, nearly all couples, no visitors and no kids - it’s very low-key and chill. Perfect for stressed-out corporate executives, couples that are looking for a romantic escape or a small group... More

We travel to Palm Springs regularly we decided to step out of our box and try L'horizon - wow so glad we did. we had the best experience, hospitality was over-the-top (Ben, Nick, both bartenders) pretty much everyone made our stay so special. We are coming back in 2017. The restaurant was closed for our stay so can't review. The... More

On our first visit to L'Horizon, my wife and I had a very difficult experience, redeemed by the then (and now departed) manager Nathan, who promised us a better escapade upon our return. And indeed it was. Every area where this venue had been previously struggling, it was now surpassing and our stay there this time was totally magic and... More

L'Horizon was an absolute dream. My husband and I wanted to go somewhere in Palm Springs with impeccable service. As it was our first trip without kids / work in two years, our expectations were high. Originally, our reservations were at the Ritz; but then we discovered L'Horizon and there was no question as to where we would stay. Highlights... More

Everything about this resort was phenomenal. When you first arrive, it looks like nothing much from the outside but it is actually quite a large property and everything about it is beautiful. Ricardo, with his constant smile, greeted us with champagne and a tour. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about every aspect of our room and the entire resort. He was... More

Once a weekend escape for Hollywood elite their likeminded friends, Palm Springs had lost much of its allure as room product dated and its charm all but vanished. Dare I say with the addition of L'Horizon, Palm Springs is ready to reclaim its place as a retro chic respite for any weekend (or weekday) getaway. L'Horizon is the place you... More

Stayed here while attending Coachella, and I would do it all over again! This place was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the bigger hotels- the crowd was mature and respectful. The rooms are very cool, private in a not so private kind of way with the curtain/ window wall, the room was very mod and offered... More

Spent three nights at L'horizon late September and loved every minute . As soon as we entered reception we knew we would be looked after , the staff were friendly and attentive and always around to help. The site has a Hollywood glamour about it and is made up of low rise bungalows surrounding a gorgeous central pool .The room... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With iconic, mid-century modern architecture and a rich Hollywood history, L'Horizon offers a perfect boutique-hotel experience just minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Built in 1952 by renowned architect William F. Cody, L'Horizon was a favorite celebrity destination spot in the 50s and 60s, and it attracted guests of Hollywood's golden era including Marilyn Monroe and Betty Grable and several U.S. Presidents. Upon completing a multimillion-dollar re-envisioning by celebrity designer Steve Hermann, it will become Palm Springs only luxury boutique hotel. It's twenty five bungalows with private patios and outdoor showers, spread out over three acres, provide an exclusive and intimate feel to the property. Featuring Frette Linens, Le Labo toiletries, marble baths, and a mix of bespoke and high end vintage furniture, it is once again an iconic property in the making. ... more   less
