San Francisco RV Resort is currently undergoing renovations, which have been positively received in common areas, although some guests feel that the updates don't fully justify the premium rates. While the location is frequently lauded for its convenience and scenic surroundings, there are reservations about the value offered, with some experiencing less-than-impressive views and experiences for the price paid. The resort's cleanliness generally earns high marks, and while the staff is often commended for their helpfulness, service can sometimes be hit-or-miss. Amenities are appreciated, yet the close quarters of the sites have drawn criticism.

They are clearly working to update the RV resort and many of the common areas have been improved since our last visit. Unfortunately, the bathroom closest to our site was closed making it a longer walk. We paid an extremely expensive nightly rate for an ocean view and the site we were assigned was a pull-in versus a back-in so most of our view were the back and sides of other RVs. Do check with the resort prior to check-in if you have requested and paid for an ocean view to ensure you maximize the price paid as once you arrive they will not work with you to move you even though other sites may sit empty. The location can't be beat! Close in to San Francisco, located on the ocean, and located on a bike/walking path that runs through Pacifica. Check out Mazzetti's Bakery for some of the best treats around.

If you like camping in Walmart parking lots (only plus being full hook up), then this is your place! Seriously, sites were very tight and this property could really benefit from removing some sites to make them wider. I was surprised at how uneven our site was (being that it's basically a parking lot), had a hard time leveling our 40ft Class A. The pool area has been down for months, doesn't even look like they are working on it. We had to pay a nightly fee here (most Encore's are free with our membership) and at $30/night, we feel it wasn't worth the cost.

We first came to SF RV Resort in August of 2023 for 2 days and did not enjoy it at all. We returned in April of 2024 and had a completely different experience as the park went under new management. The employees who work here are amazing and helpful. They are willing and ready to help you whenever and wherever they can. The pool was renovated and opened in time for everyone to enjoy during the “Indian Summer” we receive here on the coast. Management has been working hard to beautify the park up with new paint, grass and plants. The main club house is open to all for games, coloring, arts and crafts and even family (the whole park is included) events like Thanksgiving dinner. They now have the second set of restrooms open and are working relentlessly to try to open the smaller club house.
Thank you David and the rest of the SF RV Resort for being so open and welcoming to all who pass through here.

Extremely tight sites separated only by the 4" white line common in a parking lot. In order to position my RV so the slide would not touch the neighbor's, my electrical cord would not reach the pedestal. Fortunately, I had a 25' extension. The cable TV was unwatchable due to poor picture quality. There were no individual picnic tables. The website is deceptive. It references "grass and grave sites" and there is a picture of a playground swing set. None of those exist. No wifi at the sites, but the OTA TV reception was good as was our Verizon signal. We did have a spectacular view of the ocean and the park is conveniently located for excursions to San Francisco and neighboring areas.

From the beginning to the end this was a wonderful experience. The office staff were more than helpful - going above and beyond to support our stay - from a personal tour of the facilities to coordinating with Thousand Trails. If you want to stay in your RV near a place like San Francisco, you have to expect a parking lot with utilities. We were not surprised since we had read reviews- it was a small price to pay for being 15 minutes and a $20 Uber ride to the city!!
The water pressure is good, the electricity was constant, and the ocean view is spectacular.
There are dog walking areas. Being so close to the city was amazing and having a Safeway and bakery within walking distance was nice. Cell reception is great. The laundry is good and reasonably priced. Traffic noise may be an issue but our 5th wheel is well insulated and we were fine.

We were here 7nights 8 days during exceptionally good weather for March. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

First of all, if you don’t mind parking lot camping then by all means stay here. Very close to your neighbors, within arms reach. I paid for a premium site, use the check-in option online and when we got to the “resort” someone else was in our spot, so they switched us to a “bigger” pull thru site. In all, the resort could use a face lift for the prices they charge. Our site had a nice view but there’s a couple of things to keep in mind when booking, a walking trail runs through the resort so there is consent traffic flow and if you’re in an ocean view site you’ll be interacting with the ppl who walk by, rather you like it or not (I didn’t like it) there are no longer camp sites where you back into the ocean, due to erosion, which I wasn’t aware of until after booking, (whole point of staying here) In all, we won’t be staying here again. I’ve been in nicer rv parks than this.

The spaces are very cramped, you can’t open your awning, there was no Internet. They charge at least $150 a night and don’t even provide you with internet so you can use your phone/laptop/tv. They didn’t accommodate for the type of trailer we have. We have a travel trailer and was given a spot for a pull in motor home, so our hook ups were on the wrong side and we barely had enough hose to reach for the dump

Family on holiday from Australia - Great views over the ocean, clean amenities, decent location in terms of getting to San Francisco downtown by Uber, friendly staff but very little room around the van parking space. Our neighbours had two cars so we were stepping out of our door into their car almost. For the price (almost $150 per night) seemed like very little room and minor issue but if they are charging everyone so much they could invest in better wifi beyond just a very slow hotspot in the laundry.

Too much money for the site when it is in need of essential repairs i.e. electric boxes. The view was great and that was the only reason for staying. The spaces were flat so I didn't need to worry about leveling my RV. It had a great area to walk your dogs and to take them potty which made this stay bearable. The staff was excellent. It was just too much money for a facility in need of much repairs.

There is a large BART park and ride like two exits from the RV park. I don't remember the exact exit but it is only about 5 minutes away. The park has exact directions. If you park on the outer edges of the lot your 35' RV will cause no problems. I also strongly suggest taking the walking tour of the Haight/Ashbury district, it was awesome! Have a great time!

There is beach access at the South end of the Park albeit kind of rough. You have to go through an old fence and climb down a pretty rocky "trail." You need to be in good to fair shape to do it. However, the management told us that if we wanted to walk two to three blocks down the street, there was "good beach access".
