East coaster here on the West Coast for a relatives’ graduation..we decided to break away and take a trip to the coast line. Sea Breeze is perfectly located on the water. Beach is foot steps away. Room large enough for (2). Shower not spacious. It was excessively warm that day and there is no AC in the room. Staff was friendly, courteous and also provided us with a mini fan. By sun set so did the temperature. And I slept like a baby. Coffee and breakfast snacks in the main office.

We stayed here one night in May. We had been traveling aloing the coast after visiting with my son in the bay area. We decided on this motel because of it being so close to the ocean. Being from IL, I can't get enough of hearing the ocean! We stayed iin Room 6 and just loved hearing the waves crash onto the rocks. We also ate at Nicks (dinner and breakfast). Food was excellent although just a tad expensive. If you are a garlic lover, you'll appreciate the garlic bread!! Yowsa! Very strong......
The motel was very clean for being so old. The only thing I would mention is that the walls are very thin and you can hear people talking and moving about in the room next to you. Thank goodness they did quiet down pretty early. I loved going to sleep hearing the waves. Will definitely stay here again and can't wait to return to CA!

I travel for business, and decided to take a little drive from the office to be able to stay on the ocean. I'm so glad I did it. The motel is nice and clean, and they have wonderfully helpful people! We did eat at Nick's and the food was great! Prices were kind of high, but the food was worth it. In all of the time I've been traveling, I don't think I've ever gotten a better night's sleep, thanks to the waves crashing right outside my door! I wish we would have had a couple of days to explore the town, and the beaches.

This is a hidden gem I love it’s a retro motel that has been upgraded. I’m so tired of many hotels having very hard beds that give me a backache. I was pleasantly surprised that this motel has very comfortable beds with a pillowtop pad. They have a nice new flat screen tv. The bathroom is small but adequate. The best thing is at night you can hear the waves crashing right across the parking lot. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed during their Indian summer in October so the fan in the room was much appreciated There’s a nice restaurant right next door, pricey but it’s California on the beach. They have a tasty crab sandwich. Across the street is a nice diner, Breakers, where we had breakfast. They also had a crab and clam chowder that was a delicious. We have already booked another stay at the end of March.

We arrive and checked in, previously requested adjoining rooms, did not get. No coffee maker in rooms - office said they had coffee - machine did not work entire time. Our room had issues: -telephone did not work -bay window did not lock and secure, no safety feature, did not offer new room -missing garbage can -next door to room the occupant was smoking "weed and cigs", both not allowed -next door to room the occupant was "cooking food" smelled very bad -next door to room the occupant(s) were loud, shouting until after 12 pm - frig did not keep food cold, no freezer -no microwave oven -no hair dryer -no iron/board
One good feature, we woke up to whales playing in ocean, watching from our window.
We will return to this place, NO. For the piece of mind, safety, and enjoyment, NO.

If you love being close to the ocean, spend some time at Pacifica’s Seabreeze Motel at Rockaway Beach. While the rooms aren’t lush, they contain everything you need, and they’re squeaky clean. You can see and hear the waves from your room and the surf and sand are also literally steps from your door. Grab lunch or dinner at Nick’s and decompress at this delightful spot less than a half hour from downtown San Francisco.

You can’t get much closer to the ocean than this! If you leave the windows open you can hear the waves. It is an old school motel. The rooms are small and the walls are thin. But it’s clean, and the beds are comfortable. There was a decent sized refrigerator but I would have liked a microwave as well. The wi-fi was perfect. Very pleasant and helpful management. The attached restaurant has live music on Friday and Saturday evenings so if that bothers you, ask for a room near the office. If you want to hear the waves get an ocean front room. I will definitely be back.

This hotel has been refreshed and is very clean and is in an amazing spot .. I am here now and we have whales in the ocean playing in front of the hotel .. amazing views of the most beautiful spot of the ocean . It’s a simple no frills clean room . But feels safe and comfortable and the view is worth a million bucks .. it’s like having a nice little beach cabana and has a fun lively restaurant next door that is a local favorite.. really happy to be here

This place was great. The views were worth way more than we paid for this motel. Very close to everything but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful ocean views. Could use some updating but it was a clean bed to sleep on for a fair price.

We were in San Francisco for 3 days and decided we wanted to stay on the ocean. After researching a bit, we came across the Sea Breeze motel and are glad we did. Just a short 20 minute drive from downtown it was a convenient and peaceful location. The rooms are very basic, but clean and adequate complete with a mini-fridge. Can't beat it for $80/night. You are right on the ocean and you can feel the mist from the waves on your face once you step out of your room! And the crashing of the waves can be heard 24hrs a day and are so relaxing!
A few short steps to the beach and you will see many surfers and fisherman trying their luck. We got firewood and some beverages and had our own little bonfire on the beach one night, how romantic was that!
Nick’s restaurant was fabulous!!! We ate there several times and weren’t disappointed. I had the scallops which melted in my mouth and my partner had the filet which you could cut with a fork! Excellent, consistent service. They have nightly entertainment too, which seemed to be the “hot spot” in Pacifica. I will definitely stay there again my next trip to San Francisco.
PS. The House of Prime Rib in San Fran is a must for the meat lovers!
