Nice hotel. We were on a family trip to Monterey, and we godt 2 rooms in the same building. The kids enjoyed the swimmingpool. The breakfast was not so good, but ok. There was clean, and nice beds and bathroome.

We were there with the family, kids ages 10 and 12. All is enchanting. Great location. Helpful staff. Breakfast does not offer much variety but is included, and eating by the fire in the cold morning was fantastic. It compensates for all. Eduardo and famylu

We stayed in Room 320 on the "Cottage" side of the property for 1 night. It's classified as a "Cottage Junior Suite" room The room looked like the photos on website, and that part is great. What isn't so great is the general lack of maintenance and amenities in the room and overall complex. Items we ran into during our... More

This review is for the lodge side. So this stay started solidly in the 1/5 category. Fortunately it was saved. The first room they gave us was a handicap room on the ground floor and it was terrible. The room was stuffy and the floor was stained with hopefully just pet pee. The shower was falling apart. The night was... More

My husband and I decided to spend a weekend kid-free and managed to get one night at the Lighthouse in Pacific Grove. I initially booked a cottage studio and was offered the honeymoon cottage for $40 more. We've stayed here three or four times in the past and have always liked this hotel. The honeymoon cottage was spacious with a... More

Friendly staff checked us in. Had recently renovated groundfloor room which was very clean, facing a cementay and thus being quiet. Breakfast was poor, don't expect too much anf tnis also goes for the breakfast room. So a B for a nice room and a b for the breakfast making this a decent B&b to explore the area.

Overall a very nice room that was recently updated with new tile, carpet, decor. Would get a 5 except that need to complete some finishing touches such as seals for shower to reduce leakage. When we took a shower, all the water ended on floor as no bottom seal to door?!?! Morning breakfast included was nothing to write home about.

I read the reviews on this place prior to booking and based off that I selected to stay here. No one mentions that the property sits adjacent to a graveyard. Upon my check in my kids and I opened our sliding glass doors and found tombstones right outside our door! Not happy about that! The breakfast was mediocre and most... More

Quite stay. During the week and about 4 families in the cottage area and quite. Breakfast was great, started the day with a tasty meal. The evening reception was a nice relaxing time, wines were pretty good, lemonade too. The buildings have been around for a while but clean and charming. Short pleasant walk to the shoreline was a dailly... More

We recently had a wonderful family stay here in a junior cottage suite. There were three of us in total. Accommodations were very nice. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and evening receptions. The hot tub was very inviting. Pool was a bit chilly, but the hot tub made up for it. All-in-all, I would highly recommend this property if you... More
