Asilomar is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sights and peaceful pacific ocean. The accommodations are great, staff is friendly and the food is to notch. I'll definitely return to visit again.More

I've been to Asilomar twice now and I absolutely love it. The hotel includes buildings from a summer camp established around 1913, and the scenery is wonderful. The grounds encompass and area behind the sand dunes and there is a lovely boardwalk that connects from...More
Stayed here for a week for a business training. It really reminds me of summer camp. Sprawling old wooden buildings on this beautiful stretch of coastal dunes. It is not fancy or glamorous but it is very adequate and clean. I have to say that...More
Nestled among the trees overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Asilomar is a place to enjoy the scenery! Take some time to wander around the grounds of this beautiful conference center.
The aesthetic of the buildings feels just right, with stacked stone, lots of wood and high...More

Hello, I grew in in PG and have returned to stay at Asilomar number of times over the years. This is a conference site first but they really advertise to individuals now also. This new property group sells rooms as to location on the property, fireplace, ocean views are now extras. What is a "ocean view" to one may not be to another. They don't like to tell where your room will be because of conferences. I'd goggle a map of the property and you can see where the rooms/buildings are set. The 800 number people are in AZ. and really don't knew the site at all. I'd ask where my room is, most ocean views are in a nice areas. The rooms are dated but clean. They have plans to redo them this coming year. Asilomar Beach is right across the street, you can't get any closer. The grounds are very nice, it's a state park. I won't buy your meals there, to many great restaurant in PG and Monterey.....check TripAdvisor. Carmel is about 7 miles away and you can go into the 17 Mile Gate right up the hill from Asilomar. Merry Christmas
