Loved the convenience of our condo - it worked perfect for a ski vacation for my family. I purchased our lift tickets in advance and received them at check in. Also reserved rentals ahead of time and had a short walk from our condo to pick those up and the lifts were right there too! Rental pick up process was very easy - staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, staff at the resort was very friendly. Free underground parking was a wonderful convenience! Only downfall was eating options - these were already limited because of outdoor only seating, but the hours of operation on the website and online ordering were inconsistent and didn't always work. The one exception was the Fireside Pizza Company, where we ended up eating a couple times -food was great and staff was overly accommodating and helpful! One night I thought I had placed an order there online, but I wasn't sure it went through, so my husband called to check and it hadn't, but the employee took our order over the phone and it was ready in 20 mins (as opposed to the 1.5 hours the website said it would take)! Also - just a note that you can't purchase any alcoholic drinks without a food item at the outdoor slope side areas. Not a deal breaker for us, but many people around us were quite frustrated by this. Not sure if this is just a COVID thing or always... There's a Starbucks in the Village, which gets especially busy prior to the lifts opening - from about 8AM - 9:30AM. Either way, I'd recommend The Village for a great ski getaway! I'd love to return - especially once we're able to more fully enjoy all of the amenities!

Thanks for staying with us and taking the time to leave a review! We're glad you enjoyed the location and overall stay. Just a quick note, as of March 15 we entered the "red" tier of Covid restrictions so dining will be able to offer limited capacity indoor seating. Looks like this came just as your trip ended but hopefully next time you visit we will be at an even better stage and you'll fully be able to enjoy what the village has to offer.

The village has great shopping. The spa offers fabulous options and the bars and restaurants are limitless. Our hotel was walking distance so it was really nice to have drinks and be able to walk back!

We had the best week ever at SV in the Village. Erin checked us in at the front desk and our 1-bedroom suite was perfect. She even helped us out when the WiFi wasn’t working. We stayed Monday -Thursday and then moved into a 2-bedroom suite Thursday- Sunday. Erin set us up so that we could move into the 2-bedroom suite on Thursday morning. The whole stay was excellent and safe. Everyone was wearing a mask, and restaurants have great outdoor set ups or carry out options. Thanks, SV!

look... here is the deal. the location is awesome. the rooms really aren’t bad. cramped but pretty well maintained. but this resort has some serious challenges 1. it’s sooooo hot in these rooms. why??? we called the front desk who suggested turning off the thermostat, opening the windows and, believe it or not, using the ac unit. what? why would you need ac at a ski resort in the winter? because the heating system is based on pipes according to the front desk and it takes hours for the thermostat to have any affect and when you opened our windows you were greeted by the sounds of tail gating on the parking lot. see the picture of the ac unit. we couldn’t figure it out. 2. if you are hoping to work and ski forget it. the wifi was sooooooo bad. couldn’t even connect. had to use personal hotspots which keep going out up here. finally spoke to IT who directed us to the homeowners wifi. hint the login is frontdesk. that one works. which speaks volumes 3 last and most importantly there is a complete lack of customer centricity. the poor front desk staff seems so resigned to having to say no over and over again. they have not been trained or empowered to meet their customers needs. it must be very frustrating. if you don’t believe me just hang out in lobby for ten minutes and listen to the heated conversations at the front desk. 4. only two elevators for entire building. one was out of order the entire five day stay. and the other has a capacity of two people or a family due to covid. see photos. it created huge waits and problems for families trying to get their skis bags and stuff in and out of their rooms. and no bell staff. ok covid. but other resorts here have the bell staff to help. again. focus on your customer. fix the elevator. find a way to help them 5. hot tubs closed due to covid. ok i get it but thé resort at squaw creek less than a mile away had their pool and hot tubs open. so what is going on? financial problems? too many condos? owner focused on maximizing near term cash flow and sacrificing customer satisfaction. and long term value? who knows. does it matter? the customer experience is lousy. bottom line is this resort needs new customer centric managment — the type you would see if it was manage by the hyatt, marriot or even four seasons. the location is that good.

The room was spacious. It was like a timeshare style villa. Kitchen, separate bedroom, a living room. It was very comfortable. What I really like most is that I could walk a hundred feet or so and im on a lift... Its nice when you want to take a break. I would definitely recommend
