Spending Christmas here is our annual tradition and has been for years. Our hearts look forward every December to coming here. After reading recent reviews, we can tell which people researched this fabulous find and which ones did not. It is not for everyone and it is not a "wait on you hand and foot" kind of place; if that...

This is one of the most charming and romantic locations to stay in, and it makes a trip to a magical place like Ojai, even more lovely and rich. The attention to detail is evident in every nook and cranny and you will not want for anything. The casitas are all a little bit different and unique in their own...

Charming/quiet/private/singular environment. Room wonderful--rear private patio like an outdoor sitting room. Office helpful/breakfast more than good and fresh. Located "in the woods" and the end of a residential street, in town, but with no traffic or congestion. Ojai is merely a village----from Emerald Iguana you can get anywhere in 7 minutes. Stayed in the Grasshopper suite. This place is special.

Ojai is a very special place. The natural landscape, cultivated gardens, air quality, light are hypnotic, soporific. It's a place to go for true relaxation as well as for peaceful outdoor pursuits. The Emerald Iguana Inn is utterly charming and has all of the elements that make Ojai unique. The photos cannot do the Inn justice. There is no way...

I loved my stay at the Emerald Iguana Inn. We stayed in the Lily Pad and it was a wonderful place for a girls getaway. We had in room massages that kicked the trip off right. I highly recommend the Emerald Iguana. They couldn't have been nicer.

The Inn is in a quiet residential area of Ojai about a 6 block walk from the main road where you will find excellent supermarkets and restaurants and shops (Locally owned not franchises of national). The grounds are very nice and the and give a secluded feel. Our room which I believe was the acorn suite had a bedroom and...

We decided to get away after Valentine's Day for a couple of days. We've been to Ojai before but never to the Emerald Iguana. We booked a two night stay and got a discounted rate. The property is beautiful. They have rooms that can accommodate two guests or a whole family. Stayed in the Feather room and loved it. Very...

The drive in is beautiful. The face of the property is gorgeous. The little compound is a delicious respite. The rooms are an amazing Spanish revival of tile and carpets and raw wood furniture. If only the service matched the space and the price tag. For more than $300/night, I was disappointed. The hot tub has to be manually heated...

We had a weekend get away with our friends. The Frog suite was even better than the pictures. Spacious with two gas fire places a large living room and a kitchen with everything you need. The staff were great and the grounds are very nice. It is a little Oasis in Ojai. Off the main street so you really feel...

We needed a place to stay for 2 nights while our house was being tented. Although we were in our own town, the Emerald Inn was so comfortable and nice we felt as if we were on vacation. We will definitely recommend it to our out of town guests.
