Great location! Bed was very comfortable. We stay in Unit E 202. Carpet was filthy, vanity door was under the sink, blind vanes kept falling off and the large fan was filthy. There were no cleaning rags, brooms were worn out. Got a very negative "visitor" review from this company when I told them about the deficiencies! They lied about contacting me. Could not find my "booking". LOL..yet had copies of my emails! They do not like the "truth" on the state of this unit!

What a lovely place, unit right on the beach and the whole complex was beautiful. walking distance to the Piar and Harbor. look at units right on the beach with nothing but sand between you and the ocean.

I have stayed at this condo resort 3 times each at different times of the year- spring, summer, and winter. It is all condos that you rent through vrbo, Airbnb, or a travel agency. The 3 I stayed in were all differently decorated and all in different buildings. I suggest you read reviews thoroughly as in the last condo I was in, the owners had a ring doorbell that kept track of all your movements. She was known to text you if she saw you had a guest that she did not authorize or if she did not like what she saw. The resort has a huge swimming pool, hot tub area, mini putting range, a gym, as well as bikes and beach chairs for rent. It is the ocean and a short walk to Oceanside Pier. If you are there in the spring or winter it does get cold at night and the condos have very small heaters that do not really warm the place - one in the living room and one in the bedrooms. Most offer space heaters as well. It is a short walk to the harbor where there are restaurants,, bars, and ice cream shops. Further down by the harbor is the marina and the floating docks attract seals. These are fun to watch. I love this resort as it has a Hawaiian /Polynesian vibe as you walk through it. There are waterfalls, tranquil streams, and palm trees. I would recommend it. Fun place to stay with a family or alone.

This review is for North Coast Village as a resort - not for the privately-owned condo we rented there. We stayed five nights, and I cannot wait to go back. You can’t get any closer to the ocean than this - you are on the beach as soon as you step off this gated property. We found the resort to be very well maintained, wonderfully landscaped and appointed with some fantastic amenities. It is gated, but most of the guests renting are doing so from various private owners, so there are limits as to what the HOA management will discuss with guests. You cannot beat this location in Oceanside. A negative worth mentioning is the noise from children and teens. Our condo balcony was over the putting green and large pool. Every single night, for upwards of an hour or two, there were young kids running around the courtyard screaming at the top of their lungs. It sounded like they were playing tag or something and I am all in for kids having fun on vacation, but there were no adults to be found. If you bring kids to a place like this and you let them run wild and disturb the other guests (security had to be called at least twice) you should maybe consider a place specifically for kids. I should not have to close my windows and patio because you wanted some adult time on your trip so you let your kids do whatever they wanted. Another negative is the hot tub. There is one moderate hot tub that had a max capacity of around 20 people. Almost every time we tried to go down there, it was packed with kids and teenagers. I would love to suggest that, since there is only one hot tub and children seem to have the run of the rest of the place, that this hot tub be made 21 and over. I’m sure no adults traveling without kids would disagree, and if you travel with your kids, there are things you may have to skip on. All told, we will definitely be back, but we will be far smarter about choosing our condo location away from the interior courtyard.

We stayed in D2. It was so amazing! Just a few steps from the beach and the ocean, on the boardwalk or we can watch on her window about the exciting fun things going on. The room was incredible. Little fireplace, amazing deck that we can watch the waves. My bedroom we could open the window and just hear the sound of the ocean. In fact we stayed one extra night. We never wanted to leave. And we will definitely go back again next year. The pool and hot tub were incredible the Coy fish and the grounds were beautifully kept. It was our own little paradise!!!

The view is fantastic. Very short walk to the beach, pier and restaurants. Bathroom needs an update. Bed was comfortable and all the things you need for a day at the beach are provided except a cooler. The complex is very quiet once the pool closes at 10 pm, you can hear occasional noice from the Strand at night but it is minimal. If you are looking for a condo with an updated beachy vibe this is not your place, very dated and a bit worn out. Wall art is more Gulf Coast than California Beach. Overall we had a good stay and would consider renting A203 again.

Do not rent from this property owner. We booked this property 12 months in advance and 5 weeks before our trip he called me and told me that the rates had gone up $296. We had paid all our fees in full, and he was actually trying to change the agreement right before our trip. He is obviously price gouging because of inflation. I had to tell my 9- and 13-year-old children that we were not going on vacation this year. STAY AWAY!

This condo complex is absolutely beautiful and very lush and tropical. Massive ponds with huge Koi Fish and several uninvited Mallard ducks. Waterfalls, streams, a lagoon pool and lagoon hot tub are many of the amazing features. Unfortunately we did not use the pool or hot tub but a reservation could be made, we were being extra safe so we did not do this option. The game rooms and gym are closed during these Covid restrictions. I highly recommend staying here but remember these units are individual owned so they can vary in quality, price, and location. Do your research on exactly where the unit is located. Beware there is another annex of the property next door, you want to stay in the main section with the lagoon pool.

Rented F311, a 2bd/2ba condo overlooking the lagoon & harbor for 7 days through On-the-Sand Vacations website/company. No complaint about the amenities, everything promised with the exception of a VERY SLOW elevator to the 3rd floor! Confusing layout to find your way around the complex but doable. The reason for the 2 stars is the amenities. Granted, it is not their fault for Coronavirus Rules. **WARNING** The beautiful pools & spas are VERY LIMITED & basically NOT AVAILABLE as you would think. You have to stand in line for an hour the day BEFORE the day you want to go in and many spots fill up quick. Pool & spa time (only one reservation per day for each unit) are only 1 hour per day, each.  DONT COUNT ON ENJOYING THE POOL & SPA with the Coronavirus rules for now.  The beach is open & easy to get to but if you're thinking of a beautiful, relaxing spa evening or even a swim in an awesome pool,  FORGET IT! We had kids who just watched people splashing around  and rotating every hour. You only get 1 hour of pool or spa time & the number of people based on your condo size. If I would have known this, I would have rented a house with a pool near the beach because part of  enjoying NCV is the pool & spa. DO NOT CONSIDER THE AMENITIES at NCV! Beach access is great but for for over $3000, I was only able to use the pool one time (most slots were full after an hour standing in line) & didn't even get a time slot for the spa! Not worth it for the money you pay IMO. Some folks don't follow the rules & one night there were 20 teenagers in the spa, but who are you going to complain to, it's nighttime! Mind you, I know it's for safety but I would wait for 2021 for a stay at NCV again!

Make sure to read the reviews on the unit you're going to rent. Some are fantastic, some not so much. They are managed by different entities. The property overall is beautiful and steps to a clean wonderful beach.
