05/18/14 Nice location, Room was clean. We stayed in a handicap RM #111. This room had a foul odor. The toilet is bad. We flushed it four times and there was still stuff in it. For a handicap shower it should have had a rubber mat in it. The floor was very slick. Don't ask the room cleaner any thing...

The handicap room is a special room for guests with special needs. We apologize that your needs were not met in that room however we appreciate your honest feedback and have corrected those issues.

It was inexpensive and close to base. Rooms were clean, organized, and well cooled/heated. "Free" breakfast was gross. Old bread, a couple cereals, nasty donuts, gross coffee. Location is old and run down, but it is close to the 805 and naval station so if you have business in the area it is good enough.

Last February I was just down the road and was very happy. I decided to give the Super8 a chance due to the prices. I should have known the low prices might be reflective of the experience. The desk staff was as helpful as they could have been within their power. I won't stay here again.

I was there for a conference at the Convention Center and since everything else was overbooked in San Diego proper I had to look a little further away. Frankly, the value for the money isn't that great, especially considering the location. If you don't have a car, you're toast. The few "restaurants" at a walk-able distance closed quite early in...
