Just an average hotel from the mid 60s in need of serious revamping. Good for a night's stay or two if you don't mind the much needed revamp. The city of San Diego is really nice, just some of the neighboring cities that are questionable. This hotel offers plenty of parking in their own underground lot, but suffers adequate lighting....

Overall you get what you pay for. It was a last minute weekend getaway away for us and it's good for a night or 2 max. We used Uber go to the Gaslamp District and downtown which wasn't too expensive. Staff was friendly, the building is dated but it is a step above a Motel 6.

One surprising feature of the hotel is that all the corridors are outdoor exposed walkways. Since the hotel has 10 floors, this would be a daunting stay if a customer had an issue with heights. One day there was rain combined with a high wind and it felt very uncomfortable navigating the route between room and elevator. The Front Desk...

We stayed for just one night as guests of our hosts, my in laws. The hotel is pleasant, spacious and has comfy beds. Our hosts had paid for a room with nice view of the harbor, but the hotel has somehow given the room to another guest, the hotel was very quick to apologize & gave us a bottle of wine!...

All in all it was a pleasant stay with a very friendly staff. It is a no frills hotel and you are getting what you pay for. It was clean, safe and functional. The restaurant and bar were basic - East Coast Diner style. Very convenient on and off for The Interstate 5. It is a good 10 to 15...

It was very impressive when we first walked into the hotel that the young male receptionist was so warm and welcoming that made our stay like a home. The room was impressive too with a huge desk that allowed me doing some business while my children were enjoying themselves in the pool. Spacious bathroom and modern fitting. Very pleasant stay

We stayed here for an overnight in the city this past weekend and it was an absolute joy. The front desk staff were great and made sure that we knew where we were going. There was free parking with a security guard which made us feel very safe. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which came in very handy...

Everything was excellent. The staff was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay a most awesome experience. We had a beautiful view of the surrounding area. We could see the the beautiful vegetation from the exotic flowers though out the hotel was marvelous. The room was large and roomy with an in-house...

We were very happy with our recent stay. Pros: Reasonably priced, Laundry on every other floor, secure, close to food options. Restaurant on site, clean rooms, clean overall, great housekeeping. The staff were very friendly. Cons: The "bayside gives you some views of the water, but it mostly has an industrial feel on that side. The bayside also is really...
