Sorry but since this was one of our more pricier "treats" in our California trip last month, I'm holding the Victoria to a higher standard. Lovely charming place, but prettiness will never be more important than functionaliity. Basic stuff missing:

Very nice place with nice courteous staff.
Room were well stocked rooms with water and other amenities.
Located in the heart of town close to all the wineries (across the street from my favorite winery Newsome Harlow).
Definitely will stay again.
Our third stay here was as great an experience as the first two. Be sure to visit the Big Trees while in Murphys...The Inn's breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect. Murphys is a lovely towm.

The room we had upstairs had a number not a "Maes" name. Sorry. It was on the same side as the laundry, down from the laundry past the stairs. The folks on the opposite side of the hallway complained just as loudly about... More
