    We had a great campsite away from everybody so it was nice and quiet and it was a great opening in the trees so we could see the stars at night. The bathrooms were clean with real toilets. They allow pets. Great place to take the kids it can get a little noisy on the weekend. But I'd highly recommend...

    We were attending a Dutch Oven Gathering at one of the group camp grounds. The group site had a central fire ring, several BBQ's, water, and restrooms. The pay showers were not operational. The site had lots of ceder trees around the outside road and was just dirt in the center. The site worked fine for our outdoor cooking gathering....

    We've been to Hurkey Creek with our annual Church Camp out for years. I like going there for the feel, fresh air, the whole campfire experience. As stated in title, there are no hook-ups for your trailers or motorhomes. We tent camp so not really an issue. The nights get cold, check your temps before going for sure. All in...

    The park is quite remote and in a beautiful setting, so you will definitely get the wilderness experience. The sites are large and mostly level with some shade. There is a grill and/or fire ring in most. I'm sure it's good for experienced campers. However, I arrived with an RV and planned to stay a week or longer. While I...

    Hurkey creek was a beautiful mountain getaway. Nestled in the mountains, the views are great. We heard owls and coyotes at night. Even saw some shooting stars. The camp ground was very quiet at night. The spaces were very large. Big grass areas for the kids to play. The bathrooms were clean and the showers werent bad, the water was...
