Our large group kicked back and luxuriated in their lovely chalets. Every amenity you might wish for is there. One woman said, "This is like playing house, only this is nicer than mine." One problem is that it is a very long, uphill walk from the chalets to the Highland Restaurant. Two of my group have limited walking ability. To... More

We loved our stay at Mt Shasta Resort! One of the nice things about this resort is that it feels like you are out in nature. Lots of trees around, close to Lake Siskyou, with walking trails to the lake. No sounds of the train or highway here. The rooms have an added touch of class compared to the other... More

I have stayed at this resort twice. Once in one of the Chalets and once in the premium woodland room with jacuzzi tub. I enjoyed my visit so much the first time, I had to go back. They are cottages/cabins with really nice accommodations set in the middle of natural terrain, trees, wildlife, etc. and within 5 - 30 minutes... More

I am not sure if this a golf course trying to be a resort hotel or a resort trying to be a country club, but in either case, this stop-over provided us a nice change of pace from the usual Holiday Inn/Best Western type of hotel. The resort is made up of modern duplex and triplex cabins located in a... More

This place was wonderful. With friends, we rented both sides of a duplex. Deer came right up to us at our deck, which was amazing for us and the children. The cabin was clean and luxurious, a wonderful location by a gorgeous lake, and a property tended by attentive and courteous staff. The restaurant decor seemed dated but the food,... More

We had first booked a standard hotel room. Snafu, upgraded to a chalet, which is basically a 1200 sq. ft. condo with one bedroom, fully furnished, kitchen fully outfitted, fireplace, deck, etc.etc. SO nice, so quiet. Only reason I give it a four instead of five, is from what we heard, the resort restaurant is overpriced and not too tasty,... More

Check was quick and friendly. Wifi works well. The room was very cold when we got there - maybe they could warm it up a little when we had a reservation. The bathroom was freezing. My wife enjoyed a massage at the spa. Overall our stay was OK - the room is fairly large and the hot tub was enjoyable.

Had I realized that this resort was maybe 2 miles off of the freeway exit, I might have looked elsewhere as this was just a halfway stop on a trip back from California to Portland. Our chalet was like a small house (well, I guess that's what a chalet is), huge living room, small very well equipped kitchen, large bedroom... More

Arrived late at night, my key was left under the mat with an easy to follow map highlighted to help me find my chalet. Room was cold but heated up fairly quickly. Room was clean, with two beds and nicely appointed. Very quiet, nice toiletries. Was disappointed there's no complimentary breakfast fare, I needed to get on the road early... More

Where to begin? Our chalet, 203, was cavelike. There was only one window and the lights were not sufficient. The backdoor opened to a gravel berm only 6 ft from the door. It is over 10 ft tall. That was the view, no water and no woods. The beds were hard, the bedding short, and the pillows were hard and... More
