Staying at the Strawberry Valley Inn made me feel like we were just part of the family. Every single person on staff were so welcoming and so very helpful. I hadn't noticed Mt. Shasta's location because I had arrived so late. My goodness! The first morning walking over to the main house was breathtaking! Looking at that gorgeous snow covered... More

I have a hard time enjoying the usual motel with a bunch of doors facing a barren parking lot. The grounds of Strawberry Valley Inn are lovely. The room we had was just as nice. Recently remodeled, everything is very clean. The beds are firm without being hard. Because the rooms are set back from the road, the room was... More

The staff is super friendly. The wine at check in was nice. Overall the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. However, it had many pieces of hair in it. The bathroom needed to be updated the tub was old & there was mold in a few places. I wanted to take a bath but there was no plug for... More

Todd, the owner, is the perfect host. He is happy and informative about the many world class stunning nature spots to visit. They even include a 14,000 foot mountain, gorgeous little shops with crystals, many quality restaurants, and the purest city water in the U.S. We will be back soon

It is a motel with modest rooms. Evening wine and morning breakfast make it a good deal. If you want fancy go elsewhere but this is clean safe and affordable. Walking distance to a couple of good nearby restaurants and short drives to others.

nothing like photos. basically a cheap old motel on the main road. WAY overpriced! Cleanliness? second evening found men's underwear in the corner. Tried to clean a/c black! Walk out the door..easy to fall..two different levels where you land. Not 4 feet from cars in the parking lot. Do NOT believe the adsl. I'd rather stay in Weed!

Our double occupancy room (#3) was roomy with cozy vibe and separated living/sleeping areas. Main plus: quiet, clean, convenient. Main negatives: strong cleaning product or pot pourri smell that lingered; leather sofa was very low and surprisingly hard and needs replacement. The king bed was comfy but the old springs groaned and squeaked under my husband's weight. When he moved... More

We had a king suite with a couch for the three of us. It gave us a lot of room. The building is pretty old but it really adds to the charm of the place. They had some wine tasting in the evening and breakfast was included. Home made waffles or pancakes. very good. There are only about 15 rooms... More

This is cute little motel in Mount Shasta city. It is an "old school" single story motel- exterior doors, you park in front of your room. However, the exterior and the grounds had nice character, as did the building where you check in and have breakfast. It was a comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was nice- typical continental spread,... More
