Very lovely stay in a French style B&B. Well kept rooms with real fireplace & friendly common areas. Late afternoon snacks & tea or wine available. Also warm breakfast in a nice room with a view to the gardens. Place is located adjacent to an eco-friendly reserve with beach & tide pools. Will definitely return.

We knew this inn when it was previously owned by a gracious innkeeper. Our return here Dec. 2011 was a bitter disappointment. All the beautiful decor gone, everything strictly Comfort Inn style, the lovely garden quietly dying from lack of care. No one met us when we arrived, and our key was in an envelope taped to the front door.... More

It's unbelievable this B&B is so close to San Francisco. The drive into downtown was just a half an hour. The property and surrounding town is so peaceful and a wonderful place to unwind. There are walking paths that lead to a couple of different beaches. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and the tidal pools are... More

My wife and I stayed two nights in a ground floor garden room in early November. The queen bed was moderately firm and very comfortable. It seemed to us to be a wider than average queen, almost like a small king. The garden includes an interesting collection of plants, birds, and rabbits and is fun to watch, particularly when all... A beautiful drive up the coast. I have stayed at the other B &B run by the Four Sister's Inn at Pacific Grove. Always friendly and accommodating. Special attention to detail. I love the fact that they leave you a teddy bear on the bed with your names on them. I usually end up buying them and taking it home... More

The best part about the Seal Cove Inn is the beautiful grounds. Wow! So serene and relaxing. The beach is one of the most tranquil I've been to. No one was around and it was just gorgeous. The tide pools were great too. Now, about the rooms...I've stayed here twice, once upstairs and once downstairs. The upstairs room was nice,... More

This was a lovely and very comfortable B&B. Staff was nice food was good and the bath tub was HUGE. We loved how the French doors opened into a lovely garden. It smelled wonderful. The scent of rosemary came floating up into our room.

We stayed here for an anniversary getaway. We checked in at 3pm to find the inn very clean and casually elegant - like a country home. Our second floor room was large and had a deck overlooking the extensive gardens. It felt so relaxing we immediately took a nap. The rooms are well insulated and it's hard to tell if... More

The Seal Cove Inn is a beautiful 10-room inn in a quiet, nature setting. Our room was quite large and the bed extremely comfortable. In the corner of the room was a fireplace - a nice touch for cool evenings. The patio door overlooked a lovely garden, and we enjoyed watching rabbits and quails frolic there. We were pleasantly surprised... More

There's little doubt that the Seal Cove Inn offers a fantastic setting. Although the "ocean views" are hard to see from the inn itself, they're only a short walk away, down to a the beach cove that really is a seal habitat. The garden is well-kept, and the adjoining woods make an ideal location for a wedding. Which is exactly... More
