Found this motel through booking.com. I mentioned on our reservation we were there to celebrate our 47th Anniversary. When we checked in, the owner had a memorable gift for us! To be honest, this room reminded of a room we had on a trip to Michigan back in 1968 because it had "Magic Fingers" (still only .25 cents for 15...

Clean and fresh place with easy access to places to eat. Morro Bay ended up being a great place to see on our journey up. The room was small and the beds not very comfortable, but for one night it works. The lady taking care of the place was helpful and cheerful.

At first glance this motel may not seem like much, but first impressions can be deceiving. The outside looks like any of the 100s of roadside motels that line California's towns and roads and the 'reception' area looks more like somebody's office than a place to welcome guests. But after an awkward and very manual check-in we were pleasantly surprised...

My mom (56) and I (29, female) stayed here one night during a road-trip up Highway 1, and we booked it based on these reviews. The property is in an extremely safe area, and most of the motel guests (families, older couples) had their windows open when we arrived in the late evening to check in. Tons of shopping and...

The prior reviews are spot on. This hotel does deserve a 5 Star Rating. It is older and you will be very surprised when you enter your room. Immaculate and very clean and very nicely remodeled. We felt very comfortable there and we will return on our next visit to Morro Bay. The owner and reception person Ann was very...

I booked this motel through the internet for my first time to Morro Bay to see a friend. I love older little motels and inns that remain top-notch and this is one of them! The owners are meticulous about this property and the rooms are cozy, immaculate and well appointed. The rooms have a down-home feel and décor. The bedding...

This place is old but the owner had did a great job fixing it up and making it a very cozy little place. It is super quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. My wife and I loved our stay there. The beds were very comfortable and the owner was so nice when we checked in. I would stay here...

My husband booked this hotel for my daughter and I after we already left for our trip. We were up visiting friends and didn't want to spend a lot money on a hotel. So I had not seen even a picture of this hotel prior to showing up that afternoon. When I first pulled into the parking lot, the hotel...

The room and bath where small but clean. The furniture really need an update, the flowers above the bed are really too much. The staff was very friendly. There was a refridgerator, koffemaker and microwave so dat was good. The bed was comfortable and you also can put money in the machine next to the bed and it will give you...

This cute beach motel has a charming retro feel. It's super clean and in a convenient location. Bathrooms have been re-done also. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's good for families - we got a triple room with a double and single bed that adjoins to a room with two doubles. Will definitely stay here again!
