this is the second time we've stayed at Mill Creek while visiting Lassen and once again we were happy with the peaceful setting and helpful staff. This year we were in Cabin 11 which is a bit of a snug fit for 4 (our kids used the futon in the front room and we used the bedroom) but it suited...

My wife and I spent two nights at the resort (Cabin 3) and very much enjoyed it. Know in advance that this is not luxury lodging -- old cabins with no TV or WiFi (that is part of its appeal, for us) -- but very clean. No AC, but all windows opened and the place cooled off nicely at night....

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park based on the good reviews on TA.com. We are so glad we did and had a very enjoyable stay. It was very quiet and peaceful – off the beaten track. We stayed at cabin #6 which was a large one bedroom with a sitting area and kitchen. The...

We stayed at cabin #10 (2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen, fireplace). Here are pros & cons, and a couple of explanation notes below. Pros: - Small, but comfortable. - VERY rustic, but very clean. - Nice towels. - Very convenient to Lassen Volcanic National Park. - A million hummingbirds on the patio. - Milkshakes. - Very reasonably priced. Cons: - Everything,...

We tried a 30 mile commute from Chester and a 11 mile commute from Millcreek Resort. We stayed in Cabin 11. There were 3 windows in the living room and only 1 opened. There were 2 windows in the kitchen and only 1 opened. The door to the bedroom was missing. The accordion door to the bathroom which was in...

This was a perfect for a visit to Lassen National Park, and located about 25 minutes from the visitor's center. The restaurant was surprisingly good (excellent milkshakes!). The property is very nice and the family obviously has pride in the upkeep. We were in Cabin 10, which was older but reasonably well maintained for a rustic cabin in the woods...

Cabin #10 was perfect for a stay with our two little boys on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The cabin was spotless, had a fully stocked kitchen, nice bathroom, and two cute bedrooms. The restaurant was family friendly, tasty, and affordable. My boys keep asking to go back.

Chose this place after reading TripAdvisor reviews and am glad we did. Facility is very well maintained, the staff are warm, helpful, and courteous - you get a sense that they genuinely care about taking good care of the facility and making it a great place for visitors. Our cabin looked like it was recently updated, very clean and well-maintained,...

We went up to Lassen over the Veteran's day weekend with our two young children, and had the best experience at Mill Creek Resort. It was a last minute trip, and we had not done much planning, and we headed out of Redding to spend the night near Lassen to go hiking the next day. The towns of Mineral and...

We had a wonderful stay at Mill Creek Resort. Yes, it is rustic, but our cabin (#7) was very clean with a lovely deck, fire pit (with wood) and BBQ and picnic table. The cabin had one room with futon and recliner and kitchen with table and 4 chairs. The bedroom was separate as was the bath/shower. The bed was...
