Nice quiet weekend stay. Stayed in the Pacific room. Great bed, but odd bathroom layout, although given the nature of the B&B and age of the original home, not unexpected. Breakfast was fantastic and they considered dietary restrictions simply from a brief discussion of local restaurants. Great location and easily walking distance to restaurants and shops. Only suggestion... provide a...

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Cottage this last weekend for our 18th Wedding anniversary and were very disappointed in the room. This room is in need of major repairs and refurbishment, especially in the bathroom, see our pics, and It lacked a certain coziness that it has the potential to be and I would hope that this...

Booked this B&B for a weekend get away. Very nice house, nice garden, all nicely renovated. Comfy bed, clean room, but not suitable for tall people ;-) breakfast was okay - scrambled eggs, yoghurt, no bread, no variety or choice of something else. Friendly staff - good location. A bit high priced, overall nice impression - but not sure it...

The Packard House is a nicely renovated old home in Mendocino, quiet and well located within walking distance of everything in town. Our room, the Pacific View, did indeed have a beautiful view of the rocky coast from the one small window in the room. I wish there had been a comfy chair to sit in to enjoy the view....

Echoing an earlier review, the following is based on a 2-day stay in what I think is called the Garden Room rather than the main house, which may be quite different. The location is convenient to the town and coastal cliff. I give two stars for two reasons. First, The room has cheap and poorly-maintained amenities: stained carpet and curtains,...

Beautiful bed and breakfast Inn. We were in the pacific view room. Nice room with extremely comfortable bed. Great jacuzzi tub and shower. A little warm but opening the window helped. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Nan and Jessica were very helpful and really make you feel at home.

We went for a few nights and enjoyed the service at Packard House very much. Innkeeper Carrie made sure we were taken care of and was helpful offering to make calls to restaurants if needed. The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable as were the snacks and wine provided towards the end of the day. The town...

We spent our anniversary weekend in early August at the Packard House in Mendocino. From start to finish it was great place go stay. Our room was upstairs, a little small but very comfortable, clean, and attractively decorated. For breakfast, we had the choice of a basket delivered to our room or a hot breakfast in the dining room -...

We had a great time @ the Packard House. The breakfasts are huge and wonderful. The place is kept up well, the bedding is luxurious. The only issue is the coffee. Not served until 8am and the coffee is just nothing special. No espressos. No A/C, it's on the Coast.

The house was very impressive with a clean, sparse arty decor. Our room was good-sized, clean and airy. The bed was comfortable and the pillows excellent. The breakfast was wonderful....poached pears for starters. My only complaint was that I am an early riser and would like to eat and be on my way earlier.
