My partner and I were staying for 3 nights at the Margie's Mendocino Farmhouse and it was great. Beautiful place, located in the middle of a forest with a big garden. The house itself is very nice, the rooms big and lovely decorated. There is nothing to complain at all. Margie is the perfect host. Very friendly and open. We... More

I truly wish I would have come onto Trip Advisor and read the reviews before visiting the Mendocino Farmhouse. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are adorable, and the price is much more reasonable than many of the other Mendocino B&B's in the area. However, I feel that this all comes with a price due to the Host/Inn Keeper's general... More

We had a lovely and very relaxing stay last week. Great star watching! The inn is just a few minutes from the village. We enjoyed a couple of picnics on the back patio basking in the fall sun. The innkeepers were very welcoming and served up some very delicious breakfasts. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

After the long and winding road trip out to Mendocino, The Farmhouse was a welcomed sight! Nestled in the beautiful trees this B&B had it all. We were greeted at the door by the owner,Margie, who was very pleasant and she got us settled right away. Our room was charming. It was not covered in grandmas old wall paper but... More

Very nice propriety hidden in the woods right before Mendocino. Easy to find following the instructions on the web although can be a little difficult in the night time. Lovely outdoors. Rooms are large and comfortable. Only 1 room (the biggest - John) has the bathroom remote on the corridor and not in -suite. Not a gourmet, fancy breakfast but... More

Enjoyed staying here. The location is removed from Mendocino proper allowing for a quiet and serene stay in a lovely B&B immersed in a mature redwood grove. However, the house is close enough to downtown to enjoy the scene and attractions. Convenient to Russian Gulch and other local state parks. Margie is a great host and the home is lovingly... More

My parents were in the Pine room and my husband and I were in Cedar, there really are not enough words. In short this is the perfect oasis, you can roam the open spaces, read under the redwoods or take a short jaunt from the private road to the ocean and restaurants in Mendocino or Fort Bragg. The rooms with... More

Loved our farmhouse room and bath. Garden, flowers, forest very restful and cool. Surrounded by redwoods, beach 5 minute drive. Tiny, quaint town right on the ocean. The town folks were warm and welcoming. The cook was inviting and made us feel like new friends. Inside house was very cozy, charming, and decorated with care. BUT.. The owner, my husband... More

Awesome! My friends and I wanted a girl's getaway for the weekend. We are so happy we picked this B&B because Margie is so great! She treated us like family in a low key way making sure we were comfortable and satisfied. The grounds are just beautiful with the pond and Redwood tree groves. Breakfast was also great with fresh... The Mendocino Farmhouse is surrounded by lawns, private garden spaces, a small pond and towering redwoods. There is a sense of peace and tranquility about the place which encourages deep relaxation. It is only 1.5 miles from Mendocino village and the coast or less than a 5 minute drive. Breakfasts were delicious, our host friendly, rooms were clean and very... More
