We stayed in the "1940's Room". Perfect for 2 friends to share. Huge bathroom due to ADA requirements. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the beds was squeaky, but we told them in the morning and it seemed like they will try to fix it. Overall, very pleasant. Would definitely go back.

I was very pleased with my stay at the McCloud Mercantile Hotel. The owners and staff are very friendly and accomodating. I stayed in GG's (Great Grandmother's) Attic room, which is not in the attic at all. All of the rooms here are on the second floor, including GG's Attic. This room has two beds and is spacious. The room...

The Town of Mac cloud is like stepping back in time. To a time where there is no traffic , the people are nice, the corner diner is in full swing. Everybody knows each other , and at the center of all that is the Mc Cloud Mercantile inn, with its charming rooms, and many other old charming nooks ,...

Big, comfortable, interesting rooms, quiet surroundings, fun shops. Price is a bit steep, but includes $20 towards a wonderful breakfast, and the setting can't be beat.

This year, we decided to drive up 5 to see Lake Shasta and Mount Shasta on our way to the southern Oregon Coast. I wasn't too thrilled with the lodging prospects when researching where to stay near Shasta until I stumbled upon reviews for hotels in McCloud. I knew nothing about the area, but chose the McCloud River Mercantile Inn...

Where to start? The pictures on line of the outside of this building do not do it justice. To me they looked like this could be a tired old building sitting right on Main Street, which could be busy & noisy. Main Street McCloud is neither busy nor noisy, but very quiet and small town. The outside of this old...

We stayed here for two nights after backpacking in Lassen and can wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a fantastic place - very possibly the nicest accommodations between Sacramento and the Oregon border on the I5 corridor. Our room (Minnesota), though technically one of the smaller ones, was enormous. We loved the gorgeous hardwood floors and the spacious bath with two sinks,...

We spent one night here and wished we had longer to explore the area. We stayed in the Railroad room which was very large and perfect for our family of four. The beds were comfy and cozy and we had a view out the front of the hotel. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom was huge with a shower...

Our whole family loved staying here. The room was spacious; furniture of find quality; bed extremely comfortable; atmosphere and ambience fantastic; and shampoos etc had beautiful scent and were excellent quality. The great room offered fascinating reading material about the area and tea and water which we appreciated. Breakfast was delicious. Staff all very friendly. This was our second stay...
