We stayed here on the way out of our Yosemite trip in November. As this is obviously the low season there weren't many people. However, the owner was very friendly and the room was great. Loved the ambiance of this place. Recommended to stay the night before you head into Yosemite or the night after, as rates outside the park...

The owner Vicky Lorenzi is a terrible person. She treats her employees and customer horribly. I would not reccomend anyone go anywhere near her or her establishment. I forund a long hair in one of the cookies I ate. Also found hair in the soup. There was moldy fruit in her deli case, coffee was very watered down. DO NOT...

This place has an aging hippie feel to it. The room was cramped and stuffy. The staff tried to be helpful but the management could use some educating in customer relations. My son made the mistake of leaving a pair of ski goggles, which were found but took months of pleading to get them sent out. They never came. While...

This is a wonderful place to stay within close proximity of Yosemite. Mariposa is a cute little town with only a few restaurants etc. This is the best place to stay. The manager & employees are very nice, provide a wonderful breakfast & offer a great selection of deli foods throughout the day.

This was the one of the highlights of our vacation. The people were wonderful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was what we were looking for. We were close to Yosimite, and had a wonderful time there, and hope to go back again next year. The park is so Beautiful. We could have not asked...

We absolutely loved the river rock inn: so charming, cute and quiet and the people who work there are funny and very helpful. However, we're a young couple who are always in for some fun and the people who run the place are mostly our age (20-25) so it was perfect for us. But don't expect the cleanest or the...

We were made to feel very welcome in this great little motel. God knows what hours the family running the place were working (too many I suspect), but they kept the place spotless and were very friendly, even inviting us to watch a film with them once the work was done. Very well priced. Do yourself a favour and take...

We stayed at the River Rock Inn for two nights in July this year, to be a base for visiting Yosemite. I chose really carefully and at the time of booking this place had excellent reviews. This was the most expensive place we stayed on a long road trip, at $95 a night plus tax (we were on a budget!)...

We were here for 3 days in June ahd had a good time. While the room was very basic it was clean and neat. The deli had excellent breakfasts and we also had a nice dinner one night. The price was right considering the location to Yosemite. We would readily stay on another visit.

Hi all. Travelling in the Yosemite area, I did not want to pay the big bucks to sleep in the valley, so I looked for near-by alternatives. Mariposa is an hour's drive away, which is really nothing compared to the distances you cover while getting to Yosemite. I stumbled on the River Rock Inn through Google, and was very happy...
