I have sent two emails to the staff (on 03/07 and 07/07) and haven't had a response yet so am trying to reach out to them through here.

My partner and I stayed here on the 4th and 5th of July. We really liked the set up of the tent and thought it was spacious. We enjoyed having our dinner at the picnic bench and during that time found it to be a peaceful environment. However, I want to express my disappointment with the lack of communication regarding my stay. First of all, the website states that the office closes at 4:30 so my partner and I worked our plans around this to ensure that we didn’t miss our check in time. We arrived around 4pm only to discover that the office was closed and a note was left on our door. If this was communicated to us then we would have spent more time enjoying Yosemite National Park. The note also stated that we received an email and I did not receive this email. I am not sure if this is an error on your behalf or my travel agent but surely you can work out if an email has been provided by the company or an individual. It’s obviously not ideal to arrive at 4pm anyway given the heat is unbearable in the tent at this time. We attempted to cool down the tent by putting the fans on and opening windows but it just blew hot air around. This is quite minor but added to our frustration with the poor communication and this is why I think it’s important to have thorough information on your website.

Secondly, on the second evening of our stay we had to put up with noise from workers setting up for the music festival the following day. Loud sound checks followed by a party all through the hours of the night. Again, I think it is very poor customer service to not communicate to your guests that they may be impacted by extremely loud noises late at night. As you can imagine, after a full day of hiking all my partner and I wanted to do was to get an early night sleep. This was very inconsiderate, disruptive and we would have appreciated if we were told about this. The following morning I had to drive to San Fran with a poor nights sleep, that could have easily been avoided.

I’d like to request a full refund for the hassle Mariposa Fair Bungalow Tent Cabin's poor communication has caused for our trip.

Good place to stay overnight after hiking in Yosemite.

Pros:
a) nice bed
b) refrigerator
c) lock combination on the door, so you don't need a key

Cons:
a) it's still a tent, so you probably will be awaken by birds early in the morning
b) during the day in Summer it's very hot inside
c) public shower is pretty far away and it's just area in a public restroom separated by a curtain.

Lock combination is sent to you by the hotel. I guess it's unique for each guest. To lock, turn the lock knob from the inside, then just shut the door from the outside.
I think it would be a good investment to make private showers for each tent. I would give solid 5 for that.

Excellent accommodation, the comfiest bed we have had so far! My only downside would be the road noise but after a days exploring I’m too tired to let it keep me awake. They do heat up a bit during the day but not a problem when you’re out exploring. Lovely and clean and the fridge is handy too! Would recommend:)

These tent cabins are fairly priced for a good nights rest so it's a great alternative to camping. The bed is super comfortable which is great after long days in Yosemite. Don't expect a hotel experience as the amenities are limited (fridge, coffee, nice bed, towels, electricity, etc) but it has all the basics! The restroom is conveniently close but the showers are very far! Check in early the first night and bring flip flops and maybe a flashlight and good luck finding the signs to the shower!

Side note: we did not meet the camp host, Gina but we left our precious pillows at the cabin before heading home and when I called her, she said that she will wash the pillowcases and fluff them to set them aside for us to pick up any time. Now, we have an excuse to come back for another visit to Yosemite!

The tent cabin was nice, clean, with a comfortable bed, nightstands with lamps, a small table with two chairs, a small cupboard with a mirror, a fridge and a ceiling fan. The tents can get very warm during day, but that shouldn't be a huge concern if you're planning to spend the day in Yosemite. There are plenty of toilets, including some right behind the tents. The reason why i cannot give more stars is because of the showers that were located a bit further back in the campground. Although distance is not a problem, there was no light on the way to get there during night so you had to either have a headlamp or use your phone's flashlight. This is still not a big issue. What is very annoying/inconvenient is that the showers, located in big bathrooms including toilets, didn't have doors that could lock from the inside but only simple shower curtains to seperate them from the rest of the bathroom area. That made me feel unsafe taking a shower on my own, especially during night after a long day hiking in Yosemite, with the showers located far from the tent cabins in the dark and with no locks/doors on them. I think if the management improves the showers by simply separating each shower with doors that can lock from the inside, just as the toilets have, that could improve the whole experience and make guests feel safer.
