Good decent price, clean room & nice staff. Reminds me of an old motor inn. Rooms on the highway are a bit noisy so make sure to keep the bathroom door closed. Landscaping is nice, small pool & jacuzzi. Good restaurants within walking distance, right on main part of town.

We stayed for two nights and used the lodge as a base for Yosemite- it was perfect, about an hours drive which is lovely and scenic or you can get the yarts bus which stops straight outside the hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and the room was huge. The bed was genuinely one of the comfiest beds I have...

After having a terrible Christmas Airbnb experience, we checked out early and wandered into Mariposa the day after Christmas. We got a room at the Mairposa Lodge for 3 nights and based on the online reviews, had high hopes. The actual experience ended up exceeding our expectations and we extended our stay another night. If we could have stayed longer,...

We came across Mariposa while driving back to San Francisco from Yosemite. The tourist information center where very helpful people. We went to the court house built in 1854 which is still in use the police officers where friendly and showed us around. Court was in session so we sat their for a while waiting for something to happen, nothing...

This is an older motel that has been relatively up-to-date. The tiny room is barely adequate for our family with 2 kids. It's claustrophobic bathroom has no lighting for the shower area. The sink is behind the shower stall and the light is only above the sink. It's horribly dark but it can take "some getting used to". On of...

It is a motel so keep that in mind. The room was good. It was clean and the bathroom had been remodeled. Quiet. Our room was in the back part of the motel. We could park in front of our room. The beds were comfortable-we had two queens. No complaints. Very convenient to Yosemite.

This hotel came highly recommended by the visitor center. The room is spacious and clean. Everything you would want: microwave, fridge. Parking directly in front of door. Pool and hot tub. Shame it was too cool outside to use but they looked great. Flowers blooming directly out our door looked fake they were so beautiful and bright. Great price compared...

I stayed at the Mariposa Lodge for several days to attend a local festival and was very pleased with my stay. My room was in the one-story motel section. The room was large; the bed was comfortable. Linens were crisp and clean. Wifi worked well (although my phone had no service). The bathroom had been recently upgraded. The staff ---...

The room was clean, warm and of good size. We were at the back of the lodge so was quiet as well. The big picture window was a great place to get a view of the snow falling in the evening. The twin double beds were comfortable. It is a 2 star rated accommodation so we do not expect the...

Had heard this was a good place to stay when traveling. Price is very reasonable. Looks like the bathroom has been remodeled, windows from the fifties. Speaking of windows, looked like blood splatter on one (assuming it was something else, right?). Walls are pretty thin as well. Seemed reasonably clean, but didn't look too closely. Sadly not many good options...
