This is my second stay at this hotel. I had the smallest downstairs room with one bed and a huge bathroom! The location is close to the Malibu Pier and the views are awesome on the pier! Zuma beach is also close so if you want Malibu-this is the place to stay!

Stayed two nights in this very cute and comfortable hotel! Not the Hilton; rooms are more IKEA design than you will find at a Hilton. Comfortable beds. Great shower! Small bathroom that's triangle-shaped. The place is unique. Across the street from the beach; short walk to Malibu pier. A nice grocery store is next door. Small balcony that gives a...

Stayed one night. Small room, big shower, comfy bed and pillows. Very expensive but it I guess that's the location. It's right across the street from the beach. There's also a small pool and a waking path behind the hotel which leads you up to a sitting spot on the side of a hill/cliff for a nice view of the...

This was a no reservation road trip. We were tired of driving and needed a place to spend the night in Malibu. Found the property on line and they had an room. Did not know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. We paid extra for the 3rd floor with a partial view of the ocean. Very modern room....

The staff is nice, that's about the only positive thing I can say. The walls in this hotel are so thin, you can hear every word spoken in the next room. Of course it didn't help that they stayed up all night, before FINALLY going to bed, and then of course I heard every thing that followed. In the morning...

I stayed here this week and was very disappointed. The room was very noisy both from the highway and neighboring rooms. We chose to check out after 1 night and the front desk employee stated he was unable to refund the second night stay even though there is no such policy on their reservation policy. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

Wow the surf and sea at your door step. Nice size rooms with fireplace and ocean views. Great door wall wide open view. Room has large bed, desk, couch, chairs and table. Well appointed and laid out nice. Room service or in hotel dining valet parking. Well recommend.

This is one of the least expensive places to stay in Malibu so it is understandable that it is not plush. We have stayed here every year while we visit friends in the area. It was very a simple European styled place. Wood floors, limited furnishings, etc. It was sold and has declined since the sale. This year: 1. Was...

For what you pay for its a waste of money - room is very basic with a crappy bed and tiny bathroom that doesn't even have face wash cloths. We also had the most unbearable stench of smoke in our room coming from the room next door as well as the cigar room/shop directly next door to the motel. Girl...

i know there are a lot of bad reviews on this site for this hotel, and i'm not saying they are unjust. the hotel was really really bare bones, which is fine if you're into minimalism and maybe no heat as well. i will say that the staff was super friendly and helpful. we checked into our room, and realized...
