Originally I booked the BLVD Hotel & Suites, but it was so awful I decided to book the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel. Two big mistakes in one night. When we arrived at the Sportsmen Lodge Hotel excuse my language, but I immediately knew I had _______ up! The pictures totally lied and are photoshopped, brighten, and retouched beyond. The hotel doesn't...

2nd time staying in this hotel - once prior to it's renovation and one post renovation. The customer service from start to finish was great - very welcoming and nice to our family who raided their taffy bowl. The hotel itself is very well done, clean, and well appointed. We didn't use the restaurant but we did visit the fire...

This hotel has a lot of charm - think the colors and old-hollywood feel of Palm Springs. I also really liked the location, right at the bottom of Coldwater so that you have easy access to the valley (Universal Studios, shopping, studios) and Beverly Hills/The City. The rooms were pretty spacious too and many had outdoor areas overlooking the pool....

This hotel is a great mid-range hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room clean. There were a lot of families staying while we did and we enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere. The rooms were a good size and the decor had a funky 70's vibe. Some of the furniture and walls were in need of revitalization. The...

My boyfriend and I were looking for a last minute place to stay for our spontaneous trip to California and Universal Studios, and this is the place we found. It was perfect location to Universal Studios (even with a shuttle, although it didn't come until after the park was open) so we opted to drive which was about 10-15 minutes....

The accommodation area was very badly in need of an update. Most of the reception staff were unwelcoming, unfriendly, rude. The shuttle bus driver would hide so he didn't have to take you even though it was booked. They charge you room service food on to your bill when you did not order it and even when you show them...

Centrally located in Studio City, the Sportsman's lodge offers. A nice, clean relatively large room with reasonable rates compared to other comparable LA hotels . Reception was very helpful, allowing me to check in very early.

The ads make this place look like a cute and artsy place... but my experience in reality was that it was an old run down apartment complex with some paint thrown on to cover up the yuck. The staff was friendly and the lounge and downstairs seemed ok... just thought the room was not so cool.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days while son a tour with a school, the rooms are very spacious and modern with clean bathrooms and a lovely pool. Staff were friendly and a convenient store across the road, I would def recommend this hotel and it's also very cost effective.

Considering how much we paid for a room for a family of four (2 x large double beds), we didn't have tea/coffee or a fridge in our room which was the norm everywhere else we stayed in California (and for cheaper). We paid a staggering $212 per night, therefore we should have had these essentials. We were given a room...

Hello TashaTait, thank you for the review. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy you're stay with us. Typically we do provide tea and coffee in our rooms, however due to some electrical work in the rooms we had to remove them. Fridges can be purchased upon request for twenty dollars. Typically if there is ever an issue...
