Great service, old carpets and fixtures. This hotel is on the fringe of the wholesale district so not near restaurants. The hotel restaurant is good. I would inspect the room carefully and ask for an Honors floor. This is the first time I have ever asked to change rooms.

Hotel was very nice, clean, serviced well but the parking fee is ridiculous. $32 for overnight self parking is VERY expensive. As a Diamond Hilton member I think they should do something with a parking fee like that.

Ideally located in the downtown area (esp if you have a bus connection or something) - except if you are wandering late at night, the area is full of homeless drunk people!! the hotel per se is quite nice, the coffee, food options are very good and the staff is great, they will go out of their way to ensure...

Great hotel. Room cleaned every day, and supplied with fresh towels daily as well. Beautiful Japanese gardens at the hotel. Access to Weller Court and Little Tokyo, as well as major downtown LA sites.

We were picked up by the hotel's friendly and competent shuttle driver Carlos at Union Station on Christmas day. The front desk rep upgraded us from a standard room to a high floor suite at our request based on our gold status. The suite afforded a spectacular view of City Hall and the mountains. Everything about it was comfortable and...

I travel -- a lot. I reserved at this hotel because it is close to Disney Hall and to Amtrak and because I knew the hotel itself would be fine. The hotel is lovely and exceeded our expectations Our room was large and bright. i was bowled over though by the friendly, boutique-level service! I didn't anticipate hosted champagne and...

Comfortable facilities - from the bed to the bathroom, everything was in great shape and of professional, clean quality. Genuinely kind staff. Excellent restaurant! I especially enjoyed their harvest salad with salmon.

We were in town for an event at Grand Park, and the location couldn't have been more perfect, it was just two blocks away. We drove in from Arizona and didn't arrive until 1:30am, but there were restaurants within walking distance still open. The rooms looked like they were newly renovated and very clean.

Very Nice Hotel Room but very disappointed in their new restaurant. We ordered the salmon dinner but got a very small slice of burned salmon and one sliced up carrot. No bread or relish. Every time someone would open the door, cold wind blew over us. We have stayed at this hotel over a dozen times but will probably pick...

Stayed one night to attend a concert the staff was helpful the only complaint is the heater didn't work. Didn't call for assistance due to the time 2:30 AM when we realized it didn't work. Notified front desk upon check out and Credit was offered but wasn't given credit card charge reflected actual amount.

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
