Amazing hotel. Always stay here when in LA and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Everyone is helpful and so accommodating. I love the rooms and the location The pool was great and the restaurants on site are amazing as well.
I'm a huge fan of the Hollywood Roosevelt. I've stayed a couple times, and it's the hotel I recommend when friends or family are visiting. The hotel very much has the classic Hollywood glamour vibe, in a very earned/ actual way. David Hockney painted the bottom of the pool, Marilyn Monroe lived there for a period of time, the hotel hosted the 1st Academy Awards, etc. Not that the Hotel Roosevelt relies solely on its legacy. The rooms are great, and the service is lovely. It's nice to book a night in one of the cabana rooms, even if just to hang out by the palm-tree enclaved pool for the day. On the weekends, they often have events as well; when we recently stayed, there was morning yoga on the bridge and a vintage pop-up in the garden. Lastly, and importantly, I like the food at the Roosevelt. You can eat poolside, or have a chill dinner outside at the Rosy Cafe; the lobby bar is dope, and dinner at The Barish is great.…
Stayed here for 4 nights last week, had my apple AirPods stolen out of the front pocket of my bag by the cleaner, make sure you lock up all your valuables in the safe, in fact don’t leave anything out because the cleaner will nick it, probably even a packet of crisps the thieves.
This is a review for Bill Paz, thank you for an unforgettable experience. You made our entire night by sharing with us the beautiful history of The Roosevelt. You shared our love for Marilyn Monroe and films. We were so amazed by how much you know about this historical building. We were extremely impressed. You were so charming and made us feel so beautiful and empowered. Thank you for making our night so special.
We stayed for two nights and greatly enjoyed our visit. Our room was clean and spacious and each staff member we interacted with from the valets to the front desk were friendly and professional. We spent a lovely afternoon at the Tropicana pool where staff members were able to find us some adjoining lounge chairs. Overall, the service was impeccable and we would definitely love to come back and stay again when we are next in LA.
We loved staying at the Roosevelt. Beautiful place with so much history. A highlight is Mark, who works on staff. He was so kind, full of great tips, history, info. Went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! The pool was closed due to movie premier so we will have to come back!
We had a fabulous time celebrating a birthday with two adjoining pool side cabana suites. The staff and service are always so friendly and thoughtful. You feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the magical golden days of Hollywood. A special thank you to Tiffany for taking care of us and making sure we had a great time. This is such a beautiful and magical hotel. The food and drinks are top notch.
If you're looking for a hotel to stay at in Hollywood, look no further than The Roosevelt! Just wow - the staff is so incredibly friendly, the drinks are fantastic, and the rooms are clean. They also have an awesome pool & if you're special, you may even find yourself with a teddy bear. Great hotel to stay at if you're planning to go to a Hollywood Bowl show too. It's about a 30 min walk but it beats the traffic & parking.
Enjoyed our stay here very much! Friendly and helpful team, and all the basics done well. The location and its accessibility to the sights and attractions we wanted to see was terrific. Oh, and the pool is a welcome and refreshing oasis and alternate world to the hustle outside… what’s not to like?
I don’t know where to start. This was my 4th or 5th stay. I have been helped by Hetty and I can’t begin to explain how helpful she was. From check in to pool reservations. I’ve never ever been to a hotel where I feel like family. I’m not a high roller or big spender. Regardless, I was treated as VIP. I will never stay anywhere else besides the Roosevelt when I come to LA. I encourage people to try this hotel from the rooms to the pool to the food. Everything is amazing. I thank the Roosevelt from the bottom of my heart for treating me so amazingly. Also, the t shirts and hats you can buy there are above and beyond in quality!!! Do not sleep on this hotel!!!
