Stayed there for over 10 days. If your trip is going to be short, you can stay there. If it is going to be quite long (like mine) you might aswell want to consider other hotels. Pros: - good location - next to a supermarket - has a pool (didn't use it, but I guess people might) * There are...

Location, Location, Location. This hotel is located in a great area near Paramount Studios (3 blocks away), Melrose Ave, 10 min drive to Hollywood, Free Parking, Free Wifi, supermarket (Vons) around the corner with a Starbucks inside. The staff is super friendly, too! It was super clean and the neighborhood is quiet. They are remodeling, so some of the rooms...

I was worried after some of the reviews. This was a great hotel the shower was awesome, clean and modern. The sink area was small but very cute. I love that they had the mattresses and box springs zipped in a plastic cover. Only complaint I have was the other visitors were loud I had to open the door and...

We only stayed here for 1 night but had some problems with our luggage not making it in on our flight, so had to spend a bit of time in the lobby sorting it out. Alix, the receptionist on duty for most of the time, was terrific and went completely above and beyond. She was helpful, empathetic and friendly -...

Room was great. So quiet! Alix at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Best experience ever at a hotel! I will stay here again! Room cleaning daily! Car parking is gated and safe. I felt very safe and comfortable.

Booked this hotel for a 4 night stay to see the sites of LA. Dated hotel & not the cleanest but efforts were being made to upgrade the rooms. This unfortunately caused a bit of noise & dust. Breakfast was a collect your drink & sticky bun from reception & return to your room. There was a supermarket close by...

They are renovating a lot of the rooms and I got to stay in a very comfortable and updated room. I loved it so much and the bathrooms were beautiful and very up to date. The only thing that I would complain about is the A/C needs to be updated, but I had a very enjoyable and pleasant stay. I...

I have stayed at this Rodeway Inn several times and have always found it clean, neat and quiet. The staff is courteous, helpful and all around wonderful. Vania, one of the great housekeepers who works here, cleaned my room several times and did a terrific job - like a 5 star hotel!

This is the third or fourth time I've stayed at this aging Rodeway Inn- mostly for the convenient location and not it's esthetic qualities. They are slowly doing renovations of the individual rooms and mine had a nice walk in shower, new paint and carpeting but was lacking some furnishings such as side tables and lamps. The bed was comfortable...

We arrived late. Very sketchy neighborhood. Felt better when we had to be buzzed in until we realized you could get into the parking by simply getting close to the gate. You can walk directly to the rooms from the parking and our lock on the room did not latch. The rooms were clean but very out dated. They are...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
