I love the Sofitel. I've been to many. It was my first time at the Sofitel LA. First of all, the location is #1. I mean it's really central, across from the Beverly center (mall). Close to the grove and great restos etc. So that's a plus. We got a standard king bed room, and apparently we received an upgrade...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I checked in VERY late on the Tuesday night before the Oscars. The hotel was booked full and I was assigned one of the rooms facing the Hollywood Hills on the 3rd floor. If you have never seen one of these rooms, they are VERY undesirable IMO. While they are plenty large and well equipped, they have what I can...

I stayed 3 nights at Penthouse(10F). The room was very nice! But.... First,air-condition can not work well,so it was cold at night. Second, refrigerator was locked. Third,AC power on desk did not supply electricity, Forth, they did not make a sofa bed at the time they said. Most worth thing happen in the next morning. 10F is top floor, Someone started to...

Stayed here for one night and it was fab. Staff were amazing especially the female blonde concierge, think her name was Diana. She organised all our trips for us. The rooms were fab, real 5 star. The bar had entertainment at night. It had very secure valet parking for 40 dollars per night. Location was nice, taxi was about 15...

We stayed at the Sofitel for a family week in Beverly Hills. The great plus is the location which can't get any better. All the attractions and museums are within a 15min drive and a large mall is located across the street from the hotel. Unfortunately the mall is currently undergoing major renovation and does not provide a great shopping...

We went to LA for my birthday, specifically to go to The Price is Right! We chose the Sofitel because of its convenient location to the studio. When we first arrived, we were somewhat taken aback as the rooms are a little outdated and there was no bathtub (just a shower stall). The air conditioning was also making a high-pitched...

Greeted with smiles and door and check in. Rooms nice, large and quiet. We used concierge for nicely printed out directions for areas we wanted to visit.Appeared very dog friendly even though we...

We stayed here one night at the start of a 6 week holiday. The hotel is well situated and next to a shopping centre where we enjoyed making some purchases. We received a warm welcome from Joyce and were in our room with no wait, The room was OK but the air conditioning was very cold and could not be...

Stayed here beginning of May with our 3 year old. Loved it! Breakfast was great with fresh smoothies every day. Staff really was very attentive and did everything to help. Really clean and spacious rooms. Might argue that it is a bit pricy (especially parking) but good value for money in LA standards.

“The rooms w/ a view of the Hills can be a little noisy (school/park below) but the view is worth it.”
  • This rain shower was my favorite part - with a glass panel that could turn on/off to see out
  • The window in my suite opened up to a small railing, almost like having a balcony!
  • Extremely attentive room service! Excellent food.
