Los Feliz is a great residential neighborhood without many good, convenient hotel options. I was thrilled to discover the Los Feliz Lodge as it a five minute walk to my son's apt. We stayed in Villa 1503 and the yellow casita. Both were spacious, well...More

With the leather couch in 1503, does this fold out to a sofa bed? Our very tall son would need bedding and they suggested an inflatable mattress?? Just wondering our comfortable he would be for a week on a sofa or blow up mattress. Any feedback?

My son (6') also stayed for a night. They provided him with the inflatable mattress, but he chose to sleep on the couch. He slept fine, but then, he always sleeps fine.

I think you need a car, but then I can't imagine being in LA without a car! LA is so large, and the places you might want to visit are scattered all over. Public transportation is not very good there.
