Great location on Hollywood Blvd, staff super cool and nice, big and clean rooms with bathroom and kitchen inside, private parking and always crowded by cool people! Really not bad for an hostel. I would absolutely recommend it for young people.

Really cool place to stay, cheap, tidy, friendly staff. It's a backpacker hostel but its location is just priceless! I'd definitely stay there again! They have free breakfast and free parking if you decide to rent a car. Also very safe!

My wife and I arrived at the hostel (for a 4 night stay) at 10am after a red-eye from Honolulu. The hostel had dorms and private rooms and we had booked an en-suite room. As check-in isn't officially till 2pm, our room wasn't ready but we were able to put our luggage in the luggage store and told to help...

When I booked this I was genuinely excited - the reviews were great, pictures looked great, location was great. However when I got here, how wrong was I. Myself and my boyfriend are travelling the states and this is probably down there with our most negative hostel experiences. The hostel isn't as fun as made out in the photographs, it's...

I had a private room which was spacious and comfortable, each room had its own kitchen so can save by eating in. Lots of activities organised which help see LA even without a car. The location is central with walking distance to Hollywood walk of fame etc.

This is the best hostel I've been to! I stayed there 3 times already, and it makes me wanna go to LA just to stay there! I had a great time. The common area is the best part - I got to know so many fun people. And they also have a "party" on Friday and Saturday night that I...

Stayed here for 2 nights, 3/11 to 5/11. The good? Free parking, although it is first come first served. It's tandem parking so they will ask you to leave your keys in case they need to move your car. I also had to park on the street on the Friday night as Hollywood Blvd was closed Saturday morning. I parked...

The best thing about this hostel is the central location. There's a 15-20 min. walk to the central part of the Walk of Fame as well as the Griffith hiking trail if you desire to walk up to the Griffith Observatory. The nearest metro station (Hollywood Vine) is about 10 min. away, located on Hollywood Blvd as well. From here...

I was travelling by myself in LA and I really felt at home in this fantastic hostel! Never alone and always with amazing people around. The place is awesome... You really feel the "Californian vibe" that everyone that comes to LA wanna feel. The people who work there are always smiling and open to help you for every kind of...

The location is right on Hollywood Blvd, and also near the highway and metro station. We had trouble finding it from our car when we first arrived as for some reason it's also called 'Vibe Hotel' so lookout for that sign instead of Banana Bungalow! We stayed in a premium private double room with a kitchen, it included not quite...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
