Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

The Courtyard Los Angeles LAX / Century Boulevard hotel garners appreciation for its clean, spacious rooms, although there are occasional mentions of maintenance issues and an outdated style. Guests frequently praise the staff's professionalism and friendliness, yet some have faced inconsistent shuttle services. Its prime location near LAX is a highlight, offering convenient travel connections. Cleanliness throughout the hotel is a common commendation, despite minor suggestions for improvement. However, concerns about the value are raised due to steep parking fees and a lack of complimentary perks. Amenities like free airport shuttles are well-regarded, though some desired features are missing.

Quick easy check in, spacious clean room.
Scale at reception to check luggage weight and free shuttle to the airport.
Room was very clean, with plenty of towels and the usual amenities (but no safe).
Plenty of restaurants close by or can order room service from a range of restaurants.
Small shop to buy snacks, including a Krispy Kreme counter.
Shower curtain is on a curved rail, with magnets in the shower curtain, so no cold wet shower flapping against you as you shower. A small detail, but much welcomed.

There is no breakfast included in the package but overall close to Airport and they provide airport shuttle which saves you taxi fare. I was also able to check in early and got a clean room with enough towels. 2 bottles of water was also complimentary.

The Courtyard Marriott LAX was a shinging ray of golden light that I needed on the worst 48 hours of travel I've ever had. Due to flight complications at LAX I was left stranded in Los Angles nearing mental and physical exhaustion. I tried going to other hotels by the airport to be faced with unhelpful staff and long lines. Then I came across Courtyard Marriott LAX. Within seconds of walking in I was helped by a friendly face behind the counter, Mya. She was quick, professional, and so very helpful. She even gave me recommendations to local food and had the most positive attitude. It was the first time I could breathe easy in two days. If you're ever stuck in LAX rest assured this hotel and their staff will take care of you.

The location near the airport makes this hotel ideal for short stays linked to stopovers between intercontinental flights. The hotel offers a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, active 24 hours a day. On site there are a bar, restaurant and non-negligible services such as a printer and an ATM. It is also possible to purchase personal hygiene items, snacks and drinks at the hotel's small store. Very spacious room equipped with fridge and safe. Very comfortable bed and equipped with topper. The only aspect that left us perplexed: in our room the sink was not in the bathroom but in front of the beds.

The service was great (Taylor was kind, helpful and inquired about Bonvoy membership without being pushy). The room had all the amenities I needed although there was no towel rack near the vanity, which was separate from/outside of the bathroom. The location was very convenient/close to the airport and rental car pickups. The food was good but not amazing. I ordered the pizza and two of the breakfast sandwiches and felt like they were a little bland. My only other complaint is that the parking fee ($55 a day) felt astronomical given how expensive hotels are these days. They also have very strict cancellation policies but I felt like their accounting team was reasonable in working with a few of my colleagues who had to adjust plans.

Quick trip to Los Angeles for a concert at the Kia Forum and I have to say, this hotel couldn't have worked out any better. I was able to walk out of Southwest terminal straight to the hotel in less than 10 minutes. The check-in agent was friendly and efficient and the room was large and clean. For the show, the receptionist recommended a shuttle so I booked a spot and received roundtrip door to door service from the hotel to the Forum. Then the next morning, I had a lovely avocado toast for breakfast at the lobby bar and walked back to Southwest terminal for my flight (I believe they have a shuttle as well but it was so close, I preferred to stretch my legs before sitting on the plane). I was really apprehensive about taking such a short trip through LAX but I have to say, staying at the Courtyard really made it a breeze. Definitely will be my go-to for any events at Kia Forum, SoFi or the new Intuit Dome.

Good for a overnight stay if you need to be close to the terminal.
Rooms are quiet, clean and the bed is comfortable. There isn't much around in the area for dining - however the Lobby Bistro serves a good selection of basic eats/wines & Beers.
On arrival in the afternoon we dropped our luggage at the hotel then proceeded on to return our rental car - the walk back took us about 30 mins. There are complimentary bus shuttles to the terminals every 20 - 30 mins. We just missed one when we came down in the morning so decided to walk - took us 15 minutes!

Very easy to get to the hotel and just hop to LAX. Hotel shuttle runs every 20-25 min. The quesadillas in the lobby were fresh and hot. We also liked the security to get to the rooms. EV charging is available on site. They were cleaning the floors in the lobby during our visit, was a little difficult to get around.

Mya was a great help with the check in process. She made sure the process was smooth and without delay for me and my team. Mya was the absolute greatest.

The stay was also very nice and clean. Maintenance team was very respectful of personal items.

I give this place four stars because I find it ridiculous to charge more for parking than airport parking. The hotel itself was fine. And I appreciated that they soundproofed it enough that I didn’t hear an airplane. Also, there was some trouble with Netflix working for two hours and then stopped working for two hours.

You will want to walk back up to departures level. Red signs for shuttle buses at terminal 3 and 4. Marriott bus is black with gold writing. Following link is the LAX map and shows pick up locations for hotel. Flylax . com has a map for ground transportation to show exactly where to go.
