This seemed so silly. We have our own space at our daughter's home, literally five miles from this beach. But, to a four year old grandson, a week at the beach in the RV with Grandma and Grandpa has no geographical boundaries. Add to that the unique opportunity to invite a parade of different "best friends" day after day, each...

If it weren't for the jets taking off every few minutes, this place would be paradise. Where else can you camp on the sand right at the end of a freeway in LA? The bike path goes right past the campsite and from thence you can bike south to all the beach cities for breakfast, lunch, dinner or bowling or...

Second time visiting Dockweiler RV Resort it is awesome as you pull right up to the beach and the view from your front seat of your RV is priceless. Down side is you are camping on asphalt and sites are small. We have our dog, Jed with us this trip and they accommodate our four legged friends with two small...

This park is right on the beach. 3 rows of sites. $10 more and you have an unobstructed view in the front row. Bike path is great. You can ride to Hermosa, and Rodondo piers. Beautiful sandy beach..Park is gated and very secure. Sites are very small but each has a picnic table and bbq grill. Firepits on the beach....

Book months ahead if you want a weekend. We managed to get Sunday to Wednesday. That was all they had for a Big Rig. Has all the hook ups and 50 Amp power. All paved spots. Some grass around but mostly dry. Very clean. Just enough room for your rig slides and your awning. Not big spots. But you are...

We recently got an rv and decided to do some beach camping. We tried this place because it is close to us. I enjoyed going here. We booked the spot that is closest to the sand (about $69 per night). The middle section away from the sand is about ten dollars cheaper. The furthest row to park your rv (closest...

This location works well for us since we visit friends and family in El Segundo. It is on the beach, but it is not one of the nicer beaches in the area. It is also directly under the flight path for LAX, so it can be noisy. It is basically a parking lot, so the campground itself is nothing special....

We love this RV park ... where else can you combine beachside RV camping with being in the 17th largest metropolitan area in the world? My caveats are below but I'll start with the good stuff. It's a full hookup (electricity, water, sewer) on level, paved spots. The bathroom/shower facilities are not luxurious but they are well maintained and clean....

I chose this park specifically because its oceanfront AND to be oceanfront, I will tolerate things I might not tolerate elsewhere. Also, this park is SUPER cheap for FULL HOOKUPS in a major metropolitan, OCEANFRONT! Should also up the tolerance level, folks. The park is super easy to get to - the freeway (105) dead ends right in front of...

We have to make frequent trips to UCLA for medical treatments. Even though we only live 90 miles away, the drive is horrible due to traffic. We discovered Dockweiler and try to stay there whenever we need it. It's not fancy, actually just a glorified parking lot but it serves its purpose. When we checked in, the person was friendly...

“In the winter they bulldoze a big sand berm to protect the campsite so paying extra for that first row is less of a bargain.”
