Hard to believe this place hasn't undergone a complete renovation and become a top dollar destination stay in Los Angeles. It's nestled in the Hollywood Hills on the side of a hill and the surrounding landscape is really very beautiful but it's not well cared for and it shows. It appears to be the "poor relation" of the Magic Castle...

This place is such a hidden gem. It's not the most fancy of digs, but the location is sweet. Spring for the city view and you won't regret it. It's a little piece of funky LA history. Loved it! Plus, the folks at the front desk at the magic castle were awesome!

This hotel is still the best deal in Hollywood, with the best location and facilities. I send special thanks to Mr Darren Ross, COO of the property. He went out of his way to make our time at HHH most enjoyable, and super fun. I got the same suite I had last year, and the bed was so comfortable. AC...

The sister hotel of the Magic Castle Hotel, this is a nice alternative. The rooms are spacious and well appointed for comfort with a fully equipped kitchen. I love the balconys with the sweeping views of Hollywood Hills. We enjoyed spending the afternoon at the pool overlooking the Hollywood Skyline. I would come again!

It's only worth it if you stay in the rooms that start in the 400s and 500s because it's looking over the city and closer to the pool. I stayed on the first level room #203. Only a view of the parking and with binoculars I might see a bit of the city. Nice little balcony with tables and cchairs....

We stayed here as it was within 5 minutes walking distance of the walk of fame etc. So no need to use the car everyday. Our room was basic but clean and very spacious with a kitchen area. Pool towels provided too. The balcony was large, if a little tired. The pool was lovely, clean and gated and very deep...

Great views, wonderful staff and service, especially the people that shuttle you to the Magic Castle! The free snacks are amazing, first class! Love staying here as it means I get entrance to the historic Castle! :)

We stayed here a couple of nights recently. It is quite an unsual and quirky set up. If you are looking for somewhere fairly central and reasonable to stay and are fairly flexible (and physically fit) this place is absolutely fine. All interactions with staff (check in, check out, breakfast, queries) take place at the Magic Castle Hotel which is...

This is my 4th time staying here so its safe to say I like it. I don't know that its for everyone though, its a little quirky. There is no elevator, we actually had to walk across the 2nd floor roof (handrails) to get to our 3rd floor room. I don't mind at all though, I actually prefer the uniqueness...

Stayed at Hollywood Hills hotel & Apts again - lovely pool and easy to get around but a couple of strange things happened this time. My daughter booked three nights from UK but we were unable to book the further two nights we wanted, so we had three nights in one room and two nights in another room that I...
