Me and my fiancé were blown away with the stylish Pacific Suite. The rooms were so tasteful, with neutral colours and stylish furniture, including great details in the pictures and coffee table books. The bed was extremely comfortable with deliciously soft bedding. With the door open, the large bathroom (with huge tiled shower) shared the same view as the beautiful...

I stayed there in the first week of January 2017 for a business trip. I was not sure what to expect given that I had heard it was a unique hotel. I really enjoyed my stay! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location is perfect. The hotel is modern and clean. They have some beach equipment like paddle...

My first visit to The Rose Hotel was memorable and enjoyable. The staff immediately made me feel at home through warmth and wisdom; I could not imagine having had a better local home. I only wish I could have taken further advantage of the unique local guidance and activities...I look forward to my next Venice trip!

My fiance and I had the fortunate experience of spending 4 nights at The Rose, and we could not have been happier with this hotel. First off, it's about 30 feet from the beach, but remains quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Simpson suite-- this room is AMAZING (more like an apartment). Really perfect for a romantic getaway as...

We stayed for NYE weekend with my bf in this amazing little hotel. The location is absolutely perfect: 50 meters from the beach. The furniture are so nice, very hipster and cool. Bedrooms are very comfy and cosy and very clean. It can be surprising at first not to have a private bathroom but it's absolutely not a problem: we...

The Rose is a beautiful, intimate, immaculately designed and managed hotel a block from the beach. I've stayed here twice while visiting LA, and I never want to stay anywhere else. Croissants, coffee, and Artforum in the morning; sunsets and conversation and comfortable beds in the evening. One of my favorite hotels in the world.

Stayed at The Rose for one night on October 16 and found it to be very pleasant. We stayed in a Queen room with shared bathroom. Clean, basic rooms. Lobby, bathrooms and toilets very clean and well stocked. Right on the corner of Venice beach boardwalk. Staff were extremely lovely and helpful. Would stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying in one of the suites with an ocean view. WOW! I loved the room. The vibe was great. There was a lot of space, views of the ocean, and I LOVED the artwork and photography. I'd put this art in my house if I could. In the AM the gave my amazing crossants, a...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
